In 2009. we set out to find our new Red Angus herdsire, with a few major selection criteria in mind. We were looking for an easy fleshing, thick, deep Quartered Red Angus bull with good feet , a good mother were just a few of the criteria. Well we think we found it in Ribeye 346U. We were impressed with his mother and grandmother at Cockburns, deep bodied, structurally correct, good footed females. Well our first set of calves arrived in 2010 and boy are we happy with the results. As you will see sale day the hip and top that Ribeye has put in this set of bulls.

The Reba cow family made their mark this fall with Reba Lee being Reserve Grand Champion Female at Agribition and a Class Winner at the National Show in Denver Colorado. A Ribeye- Reba female was Reserve Grand Champion at MLE 2010. This is one of the top bulls ever produced at Mar Mac.
