ATITLAN VOLCANO NIGHTIME ADVENTURE Volcán Atitlán is the largest of three volcanos that surround Lake Atitlán – hence the name. Because of the volcano’s distance position behind neighboring Volcán Tolimán it gives the appearance that the two volcanoes are equal in height. The truth is that Volcán Atitlán is nearly 2000ft taller than its neighbor. Climb to top of Atitlan Volcano, hike through coffee plantation, corn fields, a unique cloud forest, then above the tree line through volcanic rock.


DEPARTURE: The boat leaves at 11:00pm, as the hike takes an estimated time of 8 hours and in order to be there for sunrise you need to leave the Lake House at that time. ATITLAN VOLCANO 2 DAY CAMPING There’s nothing like sleeping on the top of a volcano enjoying an incredible sunrise or sunset above the clouds with an unforgettable view. Enjoy magnificent views over the lake and its mountains and volcanoes on a clear day. The summit of the volcano is in the cloud forest, so many days do not have the far-away views but you can enjoy the old growth forest, ferns, and birdlife that exists in the cloud forests environment.


DEPARTURE: The boat leaves at 6:00am. from the Lakehouse to San Lucas Tolimรกn. The hike starts at 7:00am and you will be able to enjoy the sunset at the top of the volcano. Relax with the quiet and scenic views of the lake, the Pacific Ocean and the wild nature that surrounds you. Return to the Doozy Koala Lakehouse at 16:00 hrs. SAN PEDRO volcano explore the unseen Looming above the shores of Lake Atitlan and the village of San Pedro La Laguna, Volcån San Pedro is one of the region’s most accessible for volcano trekking. The views from the top make it well worth the effort of getting there. At the beginning of the trail, you will enjoy a hike through coffee plantations, cornfields, and other agricultural operations that eventually make way for lush green forests. When you get to the first Mirador you can rest and eat your snack and then keep hiking up the rest of the trail.


DEPARTURE: The hike starts at The Lake House and when reaching the summit, you will be able to enjoy a picnic box lunch (included in the package). the indian nose surreal sunrise experience Indian Nose Guatemala, also called Cerro del Rostro Maya Guatemala or La Nariz del Indio, is a mountain located on the northwest corner of Lake Atitlan, one of the top destinations in Guatemala. Indian Nose sits at 2,863 meters (9,393 feet) and divides the towns of San Juan La Laguna and Santa Clara La Laguna. The name comes from the fact the profile of the mountain looks like a sleeping Indian. The peak of the mountain is the tip of the Indian nose. The peak was considered sacred by the Mayans, who would pray and conduct religious services at the top.


DEPARTURE: The boat leaves at 3:00am from The Lake House to San Pedro. The shuttle picks you up at San Pedro la Laguna at 3:45am and then to go road to Santa Clara la Laguna and there begin the hike, It will take around 30 minutes to get the top of the Indian Nose mountain where you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise over Lake Atitlรกn. QUETZAL TOUR Rey tepepul reserve This reserve is a natural park of a sub tropical wet jungle, located in the south of Santiago Atitlรกn, where you would be able to be in contact with nature. This area is also protected and declared habitat of the some endemic species of birds but specially of the National Bird of Guatemala, the Quetzal. Also this area is one of the most attractive because its spectacular landscapes to the pacific littoral, this is the gazer of Santiago Atitlรกn, a cloudy forest perfect for to observe different birds.
