Our goal is that every mattress we build will help someone sleep well. Each mattress is hand-made, harmonizing our heritage of Swiss-German craftsmanship with current sleep technology for a well-tuned mattress. SINGLE-SIDED The single-sided mattress is padded on one side. The other side is designed to rest upon the foundation with a durable nonskid surface. You can rotate them periodically to improve their durability, but do not flip the mattress. Single-sided Monarch Rest™ mattresses are built from the support core upward. The bottom is designed to rest upon a foundation. Single-sided mattresses allow for large customization of the comfort layers to pinpoint the perfect plush or firm feel. This customization accounts for the growing popularity of the single-sided mattress. We recommend rotating it from head to foot once every three months. Periodic rotation protects against uneven wear. Single-sided mattresses cannot be flipped.

Because we are committed to standing behind our work, all our standard Monarch Rest mattresses come with an unprecedented, industry-leading 20-year limited warranty. Here’s what this means, all legalese aside:

F O R T H E W A R R A N T Y T O A P P LY, M O N A R C H R E S T ™ M AT T R E S S E S M UST B E SU P P O RT E D BY O N E O F T H E FO L LOW I N G : • A Monarch Rest™ boxspring or foundation supported by a bed having a minimum of 3 cross slats and 1 center support post. • A Monarch Rest™ boxspring or foundation supported by a metal frame with center support. • A platform bed having a solid deck and having sufficient weight rating (on a platform bed with only slats, use a Monarch Rest™ bunkie board). • A motion base (if the mattress is specifically designed for motion bases). Mattress upholstery will settle and stretch with use. This is unavoidable and is not covered under warranty unless the impression exceeds 1/2 inch during the no charge period and 1 inch for the remainder of the warranty period.

QUIET NIGHT First 7 Years: We will replace or repair for free any mattress with workmanship defects or component failures, including impressions exceeding 1/2 inch. You pay nothing but transportation. Next 13 Years: We will replace or repair for 50% off any mattress with workmanship defects or component failures. Impressions must exceed 1 inch.

Rest easy with the Monarch Rest 20-Year Limited Warranty to safeguard your investment. We recommend using a mattress pad at all times to further extend the life of your mattress.

If the mattress appears to be defective, contact the Monarch Rest™ dealer where you bought your mattress and we will send you an Impression Measuring Kit. Follow the instructions and e-mail us the photos.

Monarch Rest™ mattresses are made by hand with obsessive attention to detail. HAND ASSEMBLED The innerspring core is layered with multiple layers of insulation to keep the high density foam padding from wearing directly against the steel springs. Aligning the layers carefully and attaching the cover properly are key to building a neatly tailored mattress.

These are just a few of the details we have honed over decades that allow us to confidently stand behind our industry-leading warranty.

STURDIER INNERSPRINGS The wire gauge of an innerspring is just as important as the number of coils. We use 12.75 or 13 gauge wire for our innersprings, which is much heavier than the industry standard of 14.5 gauge.

Q U A L I T Y I N S U L AT I O N The insulation is hidden within the mattress. In the component illustration for each mattress, you can see that carefully selected components combine to keep the foam padding from being pushed down into the innerspring. Insufficient insulation will result in damaged foam and body impressions. We have carefully chosen and tested our insulation to help all the layers work together for optimal endurance and comfort.

LO N G - L AST I N G H I G H - D E N S I T Y F OA M In the past, the industry used high-density 1.8 wt. quilting foam as standard. Today, many manufacturers have switched to low-density, super soft foam in the quilting and padding. A 1.8 wt. foam will last approximately twice as long as 1.2 wt. before softening & developing impressions. All our mattresses are built with the time-tested 1.8 or higher weight foam padding.

DOUBLE-EDGE SIDE SUPPORTS T H E F I N I S H I N G TO U C H After the components have been assembled, the mattress is ready for the final step. A skilled craftsman uses a tape-edger machine to bind the cover and border together using color-coordinated binding to finish off the Monarch Rest™ mattress. We put in a lot of effort to package your mattress so it arrives at your home clean and undamaged.

We build our beds with the strongest, most durable double-edge coil side supports that we could find. We believe they provide the best edge support when compared to other support systems.
