Interaction/ Innovation/ Integration As an interaction designer, I am trained with solid fundamental skill sets as teamwork, design methods, project management, application and technical skills. When I start designing a product, I have always incorporated design methods such as brainstorming; defining target audience, background research, developing concepts, prototyping, and user testing. My design philosophy is “i II”, interaction, innovation, integration. First, by using my design methods, I create meaningful relationships between the product and the target audiences. Second, innovation means renew and change; therefore, the product has to be simple, useful, usable, unique, and innovative. Finally, I integrate “interaction”, “innovation” and other important elements into my design process to create a special product for users.

Objective This project is to design the visual identity and website for Blackbird and Finch, an intellectual property lawyer company whose target audience is entertainment industry. Our team made a proposal for them, which included competitor research, logo design, signage, stationery, and website. Role Graphic designer – I designed their logo, signage, and stationery. The inspiration of the logo comes from company’s name, Black bird and Finch. Since the identity of the logo is hip and contemporary, I designed this abstract shape. The logo looks like a bird that represents company’s image and it also symbolizes two holding hands which represent supporting their target audience with protection and care.

Stationery design includes letterhead, envelope, business card, compliment slip, folder and pen. We used simple lines and shape for the stationery design. Objective It is a project that we learned how to make our own product by using only $100 funds and we were allowed to promote our product a week and sell it in one day for profit. It is a teamworkbased project that our group decided to sell smoothies. We went to every steps of the design process to the point that we can actually sell our product. We designed our own logo, marketing plan, and came up with our own recipe of smoothies. Objective I was assigned to this project when I was working in the industrial design company as an intern. This project is to design the instruction manual for the lighting scene controller and lighting scene control panel. Role Creative and art director. 2.1 interactive art installation

Objective This team project is to present an interactive art installation which involves storytelling, speaking, listening, and watching. The goal of our interactive art installation is to attract people on the street and gather them together while they interact with the installation. There are six boxes; three of them are hanging on the ceiling and three are on the floor. Each box has a different function; all of them are separated a distance from each other. 2.2 Design solution - eCO WASHROOM

Objective For this project, our design targets “washrooms” as our problem space. We designed the water system that would work in an eco- washroom based on problems such as strong odor or wet surroundings that people may face on everyday while using washrooms. This system we’ve created uses natural plants to clean and filter used water, therefore we are able to reuse and recycle water that is being wasted in washrooms. 3.3 Toy design - Pinball game

Objective This project is an understanding of material choices in designing interactive objects and environments. The criteria for this team project was to create an interactive toy for little kids. We designed an interactive pinball game includes movable walls and marbles that will go through the walls and into the slots at the bottom. In the beginning, random slots will light up and players have to push or pull walls in order to make the marble toll forwards the right slut. Role Creative and art director. Process Defined the user group and theme/ Researched on the user group/ Defined the product for the user/ Techqunical research/ Developed low fidelity prototype/User testing/ Revised the prototype from feedback/ Developed a high fidelity prototype.

3.4 3D modeling - Music Band

Objective It is an instruction in advanced representations for designs, including solid modeling, parametric modeling, methods of representing object behavior, and design analysis using finite element techniques. We used Solid Work to make a mechanism toy which is a family set that can change in configurations from the family and we get to use 3D printer to print the toy out.
