A Completely New Angle to the Story So Far! Angular 4 is Here Very surprisingly, Google, the mentor for Angular declares the launch of Angular 4 during December 2016 at the NGBE conference, completely circumventing Angular 3 as the next in line version for this framework. The very first Angular conference held in Belgium had an announcement made by Igor Minar, the Angular team lead at Google. The keynote by Ignor said it all Angular 4 will continue compatibility with the currently existing Angular 2 framework. As a baseline, the framework will adopt Microsoft Typescript 2.1. During the conference presentation, the Angular lead outlined how Google can possibly release a major Angular release once every 6 months. It would be interesting to keep track of the complete ecosystem with Angular JS & Angular Material as an integral part.
