introduction Isabel Briggs Myers, with a bachelor’s degree in political science and no academic affiliation, was responsible for the creation of what has become the most widely used and highly respected personality inventory of all time. The purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality inventory is to make the theory of psychological types described by C. G. Jung understandable and useful in people’s lives. The essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in the behavior is actually quite orderly and consistent, being due to basic differences in the ways individuals prefer to use their perception and judgment. What you should beware of, however, is the problem of over-generalizations and perhaps even the self-fulfilling prophecy. Each human is nonetheless different.

ENFJ You are a people-focused and relational individual. Your main interest in life is often giving love, support, and a good time to others. Because your people skills are so extraordinary, you may have the ability to make people do what you want them to do. However, you can be so externally focused that it is important for you to spend time alone. But during these times, you may become too hard on yourself and turn to darker thoughts. You do not like making a decision is wrong if not connected to the human element.
The Protector
INFJ You are gentle, caring, and complex. You put a lot of faith in your intuition (which is achieved through feelings). Often times, you are very selective in what you choose to share, and can be difficult to understand and secretive. You are rarely at peace with yourself—there’s always something else you could be doing to improve yourself and the world around you.
