Learning Target 學習目標 - Taxonomy of Digital Fabrications 數位製造的分類 - Six Ways of Manufacturing 六種製成方法: Sectioning 剖切 Skeleton 格柵 Tessellating 嵌飾 Folding 折疊 Contouring 輪廓 Forming 製成

Topic setting 題目設定 Choose any railway or station in Taiwan, and design a stool based on local area, people, things, time, place and objects as materials. 選台灣任意鐵道/車站,依地方場所,人、事、時、地、物作為 素材設計一張凳子。

虎尾糖廠虎尾驛

斗南火車站

級別:歷史建築 公告日期及文號:中華民國99 年01月15日府文資字第 0992400077號 登錄理由: 1.本案為日治時期木造火車站 之案例,並見證日治時期日糖 會社貨運與客運發展狀況之重 要建築物。 2.虎尾糖廠對地方歷史之文化 深具意義,而虎尾驛做為糖鐵 要站,乃地方歷史重要紀念, 與糖區整體發展甚具發展潛力 。

斗南車站位於雲林縣斗南鎮,為臺灣 鐵路管理局縱貫線及臺灣糖業鐵路斗 南線(廢止)的鐵路車站,是日本人 戰敗前為徵用戰略物資在台灣最後建 造的大型車站。本站為配合臺鐵捷運 化政策,將改建為跨站式站房。於 2017年12月12日舉行動土儀式,預計 2020年12月31日完工。 雲林縣政府計畫興建臺鐵虎尾線,由 斗南至虎尾,串連高鐵雲林站。

斗南車站

「斗六」及「虎尾」是雲林最熱鬧的兩大城市。這兩座城市都是因為發展交通而 成為重要的樞紐。 日治時期的台灣曾經有條鐵路支線從雲林斗南鎮的「斗南車站」延伸出來,並且 一路延伸到了虎尾鎮,更在虎尾設立了一座「虎尾車站」。

虎尾糖廠

虎尾鐵橋 虎尾驛位於臺灣雲林縣虎尾鎮,虎尾驛原是虎尾糖廠客運與小火車車站,最早稱 為「五間厝驛」,西元1920年(大正九年)後改為「虎尾驛」,是虎尾早年最 重要的交通動線,也有客運巴士至虎尾驛接送旅客,日治時期虎尾驛附近一直是 虎尾最繁榮熱鬧的市中心。 虎尾驛是中臺灣糖業鐵路的重要車站,二次大戰後改稱「虎尾車站」,曾 因為貨運量增加而另尋他地興建新站,虎尾驛在2010年1月15日被公告為歷史建 築。文化部文化資產局評估,虎尾驛是日治時期木造火車站案例,見證日治時期 日糖會社貨運與客運發展的重要建築物。 虎尾糖廠對地方歷史文化深具意義,虎尾驛為糖鐵要站,是地方歷史重要 紀念,與糖區整體發展甚具發展潛力。

Vibrating cutting machine

Use vibrating cutting machine to cut the foam board(珍珠板) for making concrete pouring mould.

The mould

After finished cutting the foam board, glued it and use wood sticks on the side to strengthen stability. also pre-embedded plastic tubes to reserve holes for screws.

Laser cutting

Laser cut the plywood for making the tube of the aluminum extrusion slider. use the white glue to join the four side plywood tube.

Pouring concrete

Mix contrete with plaster and pour into the mould. wait for 1~2 day till it is 70% dry than demoulding. after demoulding put in water for 1 day to enhance structure.


3D printing

3D printing two parts of tube to connect the wooden tube for slider and the topping epoxy.

Cutting machine

Cut different diameters wooden sticks into different length.

Shaping jar

Randomly arrange those wooden sticks to a size that can fit into the round shaped jar.

Frosting

due to the perfusion error, and the moulds layered texture, sanding is one of the way to smooth the surface and make it easyer to combine three concrete base.


Epoxy resin

Epoxy is for getting the wooden stickes together, also will be the interface between the stool and user. mixing and pouring epoxy resin, base on the size, need to batch in three times to prevent the jar beformation bt the heat.

Unit assembly

After finishing manufacturing each unit, its time to assembled all the parts. it needs help from others(2 people) to finish building it.
