MARITIME A significant proportion of trade moves by ship, from food to machinery to vehicles: this means that the oceans are an incredibly important factor when it comes to international relations. Making sure maritime security is the best it can be is essential to ensuring the safe and reliable movement of business between countries. Keeping the seas simultaneously free and secure is no easy task, but you can learn the best ways to tackle this challenge.

COUNTER-TERRORISM

These courses will address key operational aspects, as well as helping you understand concepts such as the use of electronic attack and anti-ship missile defence. You will learn practical knowledge that explains the geopolitical importance of the oceans, maritime security issues, and the tactics used to keep the sea safe. AVIATION

In an increasingly unstable world, expert training in how to deal with crime and disorder is becoming more and more important. GICIS can help you protect the public and keep order, showing you the best methods to prevent illegal acts, anti-terrorist tactics, and how to manage protests.

For those who work in the aviation industry, security is paramount at all levels: local, national, and global. This means that you must develop an integrated security risk management model to deal with the threats that are faced by the modern airport.

This training also covers online threats such as cyber hackers, making sure that you stay up to date with the latest technological advances, identify weaknesses in your own systems, and avoid the inherent dangers in working with digital information.

As technology continues to advance, it is imperative to ensure that your staff pursue continuous professional development. We can help them to broaden their understanding of core security principles, as well as how these principles should be applied to their daily work lives.

We can teach you how to address a range of national security challenges, from preparing effective policing strategies to inter-agency responses. Whatever your individual requirements, our faculty will be able to tailor a course specifically for your organisation, helping you develop an understanding of how to protect the public and your staff.

These courses will cover practical methods for managing threats within the aviation sector, including security audits, creating and testing security plans, and conducting investigations. Delegates will increase their knowledge and understanding of the current and emerging global risks to the aviation sector, and learn strategies to manage these threats.
