PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Architecture and Design School building on Virginia Tech’s campus to be located adjacent to Cowgill Hall including a café, a gallery, and 3 pin-up rooms DIVISION 02: SITE WORK Existing Conditions Existing site is a multilevel paved plaza Demolition Concrete sidewalk on site to be demolished as necessary. Existing trees in planters on sidewalk to be relocated. Drainage: A planter with gravel and soil to be placed on ground level below each scupper. Drainage outlet to dry well installed under planters. Existing storm drains not to be disturbed. Lawns and Planting Ivy planted in soil bed at beds at column bases and beds next to site-cast concrete wall bases on ground level. Ivy to be guided up adjacent structure.
