About the model The program has been inspired by existentialism and buddhist philosophy along with theories like Spiral Dynamics, Integral Theory, The Human Element and Appreciative Inquiry. It explores:
• • • • • • • • • • •
Identity and self-image Inner core Mission in life Meaning and coherence Human dignity Compassion Truth and authenticity Crises, suffering, death Freedom and conscious choice Mindset and potential Wisdom and discernment
Science: The theories underlying ExLed are all thoroughly analyzed and/or scientifically proven and there are some articles and guiding texts on the program itself. The program in its present shape is designed by Anna Rosengren in collaboration with skilled experts and buddhist lamas. ExLed as a program has ”open ends” meaning that it is continually developing and adjusting to diverse contexts, thus taking place in a paradigm of organic impermanence where inside and outside integrate.
Leadership from the inner core Existential leadership is a leadership development program that starts and anchors in your inner core. Created as a response to the increased awareness of the connection between the inner and the outer, it is a call for human dignity in its widest and deepest sense. Existential leadership, abbreviated ExLed is pragmatic and solution-focused, while deepening compassion and wisdom. It is anything but superficial or shallow, touching the core without detours. The program aims to increase awareness and thereby gain access to deeper layers of leadership and opportunities. We start from the traditional models of leadership development, and take it further by means of sublime methods and exercises. This brings us to the levels of consciousness that we call existential, since they relate to questions of meaning and coherence, dignity and direction. The focus of the program is being more attentively present, thereby getting access to the internal operation center, the hard drive of your soul. This gives us the opportunity to practice and enhance wisdom and compassion in our everyday prioritizing, while becoming more and more aware of the potential of conscious choice. Compassion is more than just understanding or caring of others, When we reflect ourselves we see clearly the interconnectedness of everything and how our interactions with others influence the system. Thus our leadership will be filled with more transparency and truth. We will be highly skilled in creating a working atmosphere of trust and confidence as well as existential meaning and coherence.
Testing and talking After our suggesting, choosing and then introducing the model, the first intervention will be an inquiry based on the program. With the results of it, we would then talk about the meanings and/or implementations of it with everyone tested. This will at once make a great difference for the receiver in analyzing the current situation as well as optimizing the future steps.
Development Next, we will help you connect the insights and suggest improvements, while continually educating.
Follow-ups The work will be carefully documented and followed up in order to secure sustainable results.
Will Schutz image of human relations, where productivity is connected to self esteem.
ExLed takes it one step further exploring the connection between productivity and the inner core.
Leading from beyond self The approach to view self-esteem and self-awareness as the foundation of productivity is a fundamental part of Will Schutz´s FIRO-theory. FIRO, Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation, is a program that aims to increase awareness and strengthen our self-esteem, thus expanding our potential and improving productivity and results from within. ExLed takes this theory further by exploring and strengthening the source of self-image and self-esteem, even to a point that leeds beyond

self. In order to build a sustainable, responsible and effective leadership we need to go all the way in to the hard drive, our inner core.
The integral web of leadership An integral perspective Existential Leadership integrates the inside with the outside,, what has been with what comes, the spiritual with the material, the joint being within the individual. It is a leadership of intersection between the visible and the invisible. The existential leadership has its focus in an awareness of the profound questions of life and of the dimensions that allowed our lives to interconnect. The existential leadership is integral in the sense that it integrates all layers and dimensions while rooted in the inner core.
