SEA-INSPIRED LIVING CLIENT
Karina A young girl of 25 years old. She likes contrasts both in her clothes and interior, so she can easily combine blue hair with a classic outfit. Karina has a free spirit, likes to experiment, she also likes big jewellery, leather
CONCEPT PHILOSOPHY My client (Karina) got her first apartment in Moscow. She asked me to design a living room in her apartment. She came to me and said: “Something that I wear today expresses my personality pretty well, I want my living room to be similar to my outfit”. She was wearing a black t-shirt with a cross composed of large gems attached to it. Gems were different colours but mostly yellow. She does not wear any jewellery apart from golden earings. Her shoes are simple, elegant and comfortable; jeans are neat and perfectly matching the colour scheme of the whole outfit (grey). Her hair is blue, clean and soft. She does not wear a lot of makeup. Everything about her tells that she does not like to follow the rules, but has a good taste, she manages to combine different styles and objects to build a harmonious ensemble. Her hair were the biggest inspiration for the project. They brought the sea theme to the space. The style of the room is a fusion between loft and contemporary classic. My design decision was to reveal the brick while keeping the furniture classic. On the two walls, I applied the reproduction of “t§. The Golden colour is an accent (like her earings). For the furniture, I chose black leather. The floor is black tiles to attract viewers’ attention to the “art” on walls. The third wall is covered with dark wood to soften the experience of the black furniture and floor.
MOOD-BOARD The touches of gold enrich Black floor and blueish grey walls. Curtains and area rug became white accents, releasing the weight of the room and reflecting more light. Mirror coffee table is another detail that I used to add more light to the dark room. Neon light looks great in dark blue interiors. For curtains I used the fabrics by Sahco, formerly white armchairs and sofas were redesigned using black leather.

Mirror table is the centre of the almost radial composition. Black furniture is separated from the dark floor with the area rug, the coffee table reflects it and creates the illusion of the continuation of the carpet. Golden details are placed around the coffee table.
The brick wall with the painting is lit up from the base with blue lamps. Blue light creates a fuller experience of the sea scene on the wall, also adds on to the idea of the of mixing loft and contemporary interior design styles.
COCO CHANEL LOFT CLIENT
Coco Chanel She was brave and sensitiv. She had a strong point of view on femininity and style. She was creative, independent thinker and innovator. She believed that there are five essential colours: White – purity and truth, black – elegance and strength, red- love and passion, beige – a colour of skin, sand and health, gold- power and beauty.
CONCEPT PHILOSOPHY
This project based on the research about the personality of Coco Chanel. A loft space was built on the contrasts of Coco’s favourite colours colours (White, Black, Beige, Gold, Red). The public space in Coco’s Loft is very dark, made of black bricks, slate tiles and leather. Gold is an accent colour in that interior. The public part is made dark to represent Chanel’s masculinity, force and ambition. The private part of the house is designed in a light pallet- mostly white. There you can find glossy surfaces, light wood, fluffy carpet and lots of different types of white fabric. White is a colour of truth, and in her space, she prefers to reveal her other part of nature where she is innocent, feminine and sensitive. A big red sofa in shape of lips recalls her appreciation to Dali’s Art and personality.Chanel’s work took an important part of her life; that is why in the middle of the loft space is a glass box that separates her working area from the rest of the house. Fashion was her gift and seemed like creating garments was natural for her. Working part is made in the beige pallet (colour on natural beauty and summer memories). The working space includes thinking area and the library.

RENDER OF THE PRIVATE PART
In an entirely white bedroom, red lit not only symbolise Coco’s idea of femininity and sexuality but also imply on rumours of Chanel’s sexual relationship with Dali himself. Furniture (lamps and coffee tables) were chosen to have thin metal structure and painted black to represent the dark thread going through the white fabric.
A huge Dali reproduction in the public area was chosen because of Coco’s connection with Dali, also because Chanel’s inspiration very often was coming from religion and religious items (crosses, vitrages, nun’s clothes, baroque style).

X-RAY CABINET
CLIENT Samir Ait Said (world-known French gymnast) has a true sports Spirit and a very positive approach to life! Despite the accidents that happened to him in the Olympics 2012 and 2016, he does not give up. Here what he said on his Facebook page: The dream isn’t over.. it is only postponed! Believe in your dream, No pain no gain

CONCEPT PHILOSOPHY
I designed this Cabinet for Samir, so he can put his x-rays and remind everybody that recovery comes after each fall! The main idea was to use the x-rays themselves to create a cabinet. X-Rays are “printed on thin semi-transparent plastic sheets. Because of their ability to transmit light they can be turned into a very exciting part of the flat decoration! The cabinet that I designed is made of a series of thin metal cubic frames; that can be placed on the primary structural “column” in any order. The structure of each shelf allows it to rotate around itself. The light is coming from LEDs attached to the inner parts of the cubic metal frames. The bottom, however, is made of transparent acrylics and it is robust enough to serve not only as a decorative element but also as storage. The interior around the cabinet is built on the idea of contrast between nature which is soft and warm (wood) and the man-made which is sturdy and cold.

WINDOW-SHOP FOR ZEFIRO CLIENT Zefiro is a family retail business that provides its services since 1980th. Zefiro not only sells fabrics, wallpapers and area rugs from different companies but also offer their clients an interior and furniture design. Their works are unique and mostly bespoke. My task was to improve the window shop for Zefiro so that it will become more attractive and welcoming to the customers. Because of a small size of window shops, Expositions are changed very often to show more products to the clients. Possibility to modify the installation was another requirement of the client.
CONCEPT PHILOSOPHY After doing research into consumer behaviour and surveying the piazza that Zefiro is in, I concluded that most of the shops just like Zefiro are just displaying their products in their windows in ways that’s don’t break the conscious of the norm. I believe that the windows should stand out and create a sense of mystery and intrigue amongst those who walk by the piazza. The Windowshop that I designed is based on the idea of interaction and reflection. The interaction would give the consumer a sense of attachment to the process of luring a customer in. I thought of interaction through reflection was the best way forward. Combining the consumers’ reflection towards the window display would make the user part of the display and part of the scene. The right front window will be showing rectangular panels with a mirror on one side of the surface and fabric on the other. Hanging from a single pivot, they will rotate in a circular motion reflecting light, adjacent panel’s material and the consumer. The front left windows display will be that of an art installation attracting customers through lights which will be like building pipes that have led lights encased inside them. Those pipes will then have a sample fabric/wallpaper hanging from it that will be illuminated with the help of LED. The window display will be the in the mid the foreground as the background will be that of the shop. The displays will be monochromatic as I want the wallpapers and fabrics to be the pop factors as we are trying to highlight those items.
MOOD-BOARD
The idea of the window-shop not to overload the scene with a vast amount of products but to choose few examples of fabrics and wallpapers according to the colour scheme. So for the right window should be selected colours complimenting the left window. Materials on each separate window should be analogous. All these bright spots of “products will be displayed on the cream background of the shop itself. In order to create a monochromatic space, each wall and each object in the front part of the shop should be coloured the same colours.

The boards on the right are the rotating elements that can rotate themselves or be rotated by the customers. One side is made for an exhibition of the materials, while the back side is a mirror. There are niches in some walls near the window which can be used for exhibiting wallpapers. They represent the sun spots reflected from the mirrors
There is a mirror beside the light structure, it makes the structure look more dynamic and creates a feeling of continuity. On the wall, you see area rug, as in the front part of the shop I tried to expose all three lines of Zefiro business.
CONTEMPORARY CLASSIC CLIENT
A couple of 50 years old. They like spending time at home. They are a bit conservative, prefer classic, calm colours, comfortable furniture. For them, home is not a place for experiments. The budget is quite high. Mr and Mre Zhukov live in the country house most time of the year.Their children with their families visit them often. The clients are adding an extension to their house to accommodate the growing family.
CONCEPT PHILOSOPHY
vtMy clients are quite conservative about the style but asked me to add some contemporary features into the classical design. The furniture was agreed to be all from Italian brands. I solved the problem by talking to the client, explaining what contemporary style can offer to remove their fear of new materials and shapes. I left the walls and the ceiling in a very classical style, but for the floor, I introduced a new octagonal shape, as well as suggested them to use Jan Kath area rug. I did not want to overwhelm the room with traditional crystal lamps, so I have chosen the lamp designed by Bocci. The light blue ceiling balances hues of blue of the sofas and carpets. Colours on walls are calm and warm. White bedsheets elevate the room, by making the bed looking less bulky
