Find your path Hiya! Hope this finds you well and excited by spring’s loveliness {or fall’s splendor if you happen to be south of the equator} Either way, get out and enjoy it. Walk barefoot to get grounded, breathe deeply to allow the negative {but actually super positive physiologically} ions to do their magic. Drink in Mother Earth’s greatest gifts. Spending time in nature has a calming effect, studies show it can lower your blood pressure and soothe an overstimulated nervous system. Look around, get inspired by gorgeous color combinations for your upcoming projects. This mini mag is completely interactive. Click on photos to visit blogs, websites, and indie shopping straight from the artists. Anywhere you see pink text there is more info. Click to discover new blogs, indie shops and more! a few of my faves... 1. I love the new Craftsy cro-

chet and knit pattern app for my iPhone. How fun to have a beautiful app to find new crochet {and knit} patterns on craftsy to work on. Try it out and let me know what you think!

2. I found the Rodale Institute in 1996,

when studying organic gardening methods during my herbal apprenticeship in Northern California. They publish a ton of helpful books, and even offer online classes! They are an amazing resource, and I just love their website!

3. If you haven’t signed up for

Danielle LaPorte’s daily truthbombs, get to it. She sends you a lovely little reminder each day that packs a powerfully postive and perfectly timed {for me, anyway} message into each little snippet. An easy way to get inspired...

A Walk in the woods

We are totally into hiking in the woods. We are woods walkin junkies. Tiny Girl wears one of her very special hiking outfits {which usually consists of a dress with flowers on it, some comfy pants, her hello kitty socks and a fancy pair of shoes, usually patent leather} I douse her in doTERRA’s terrashield bug repelent. {ewwww, ticks} This time we visited a beautiful new spot in northwestern Michigan. When I go for a walk in nature I feel uplifted, as if the trees take away my stress and replace it with love, positive energy and new ideas. I am inspired by the colors I see, imagining how gorgeous they will look in a crocheted granny square blanket. I take a ton of pictures to remind me of how I feel. I snap pics of Tiny Girl playing, then I can remember how she enjoyed the forest so that I can try to translate that childlike {and pure} feeling into my own actions.
