issue three
Love Blossoms The first week of June we moved into the most perfect house EVER. I am so happy. Gardens, turquoise walls, vintage touches... It is just so wonderful! I had all of these things on my inspiration board, and I was amazed to find this place. It took a lot of work, but I felt very driven to get my studio {crafty + office space} set up right away. It is really important to me to have a space to go to that is peaceful, inspiring, and super organized. I’ll do a full studio tour for you in the summer issue of Indie Lovely. I’ll have it published by the first of July, so keep an eye out for it! This mini mag is completely interactive. Click on photos to visit blogs, websites, and indie shopping straight from the artists. Anywhere you see pink text there is more info. Click to discover new blogs, indie shops and more! a few of my faves... 1. I found this vertical gar-
den on Design Squish. I am thinking I need to do this. The garden space I have is full of raspberries, so I need a different space for my herb garden. I am also going to make one for some greens.
2. Chalkboards are super popular right
now and I see them everywhere. Trader Joe’s was a pioneer in this, so props to them. They have some amazing signs. If you would like to try your hand at creating a digital version that you can print out, How to Nest for Less has a cool tutorial!
3. I am soooo in love with Skillshare.
I am taking a few classes right now. It’s really fun! You can sign up and take the class at your own pace. I am learning how to create my own fonts, but they have all kinds of classes. I saw one that teaches you how make fancy gourmet meatballs, and another shows you how to shop for vintage clothing!

Life has been very full lately. Summer vacation has officially started! Tiny is already bored. That girl loves her school. Well, I would love to go there too. Waldorf education is such an amazing gift to give your child. Check out a school near you to see what I mean. I put up a few of my bunting banners in my studio window and added a few of my crocheted pretties to the windowsill. I love how the sunlight shines through them. I might have a tutorial on how to make the vintage sheet one {without any sewing involved} in the summer issue of the mag... It hasn’t gotten really warm yet here in Michigan. There’s been quite a few days of leggings and boots. It’s fine with me, it inspires me to make brownies. I love that my hippie boho style is in fashion right now. I wore that shirt when we went to see the Lumineers live! I took my crochet blankie to stay warm. I felt so “Woodstock” in that pic!

I heart snail mail!
I love instagram. It is so fun to get to know people through their photos. I also love shopping on there! That’s where I found Jessica Jane’s cute houses. She creates them with polymer clay. I love the adorable packaging. I kept her card. Each house has an inspirational sweet saying over the door. Couldn’t resist this one!
