Murder in the Library Students were all brought in and told that a murder had been committed in the library. Put an outline of a body on the floor. The murderer was someone within the class and the students had to uncover the identity of the murderer and find the murder weapon which was hidden somewhere in the library. The murder weapon was a steel book end which my aide had splattered with "blood" (liquid paper dyed with food colouring). To collect the clues, the students had to visit and interact with our physical and online resources. The students got into the spirit of it and had a good time as well as learning something. The offer of chocolate for the first group to solve the mystery helped too. Exchange student, Viktor von Viktim, has been found murdered in the library. He was struck over the head with an unknown blunt object. Before he died, he staggered around the library leaving clues to let you know that someone in your class is the murderer! Using your library research skills, you will investigate the mystery and discover both the guilty party and the murder weapon. Clue
