Book Review
The author Patrick Greenwood's debut novel.
“Sunrise in Saigon has a very strong understanding of the Vietnamese culture. It is also a romance story written with depth and passion. The lead characters Jack and Linh bring forth a deep relationship proving the power of connection and love. Greenwood did an excellent portrayal of the Vietnam War considering the aftermath of that conflict.

Sunrise in Saigon is a book that encompasses the frailty of any relationship especially with huge cultural differences. The then and now very apparent as the book opens in a time of peace. The Author once an American Marine, has bought forth to the reader a time when we all wished for peace no matter the culture. I found Sunrise in Saigon a delightful insight into Jacks & Linh’s relationship, a book well deserving a 5 star review from #kezbookreviews.
