Feed the Kids for Summer is a food program that helps out struggling Mansfield ISD families during the summer break from school. The program runs from the beginning of June to around the middle of August during the summer." "
"It is a wonderful program that I have loved participating in for two years now. I love what this program has done for all of the kids across Mansfield, especially the new reading program that was established last year. Member Spotlight... Elizabeth Hang Even though all of Summit Key Club is amazing, there is one star that we would like to put the spotlight on. This member is none other than the amazing Elizabeth Hang! Elizabeth never fails to brighten everyone’s day,she deserves to have the spotlight because she is always willing to help everyone out. We were blessed to have Elizabeth Hang on the officer team as our Spirit Chair and Editor last year, but she soon had to leave us and go on to do greater things. But even now, just as a member, she still does all that she can to help out our club. Elizabeth goes above and beyond her duties of a member. She goes out of her way to do birthday shout-outs every month for all the members of our club. She gives each of them candy and a letter because she wants everyone to feel special on their birthday. This year, she even planned our end-of-the-year banquet. Every time I saw her, she was so stressed because of all the hard work involved in organizing banquet. She devoted so much of her time to making it perfect. But in the end, all of her efforts really paid off. Elizabeth goes out of her way to attend Feed the Kids every week in the early morning. And any time we need help with writing a few articles for the newsletter, she is always willing to lend us a helping hand. I know I can always count on her when I need her, Key Club related or not. Even outside of Key Club, Elizabeth Hang gives everything she has to do the best she can. She is one of the most hardworking people I know. Everyone can easily say that Elizabeth is extremely nice and helpful; she brings a smile to everyone‘s face. Her laugh is contagious, and so is her smile. Elizabeth is one of our brightest members; we are truly lucky to have her as a part of our organization.

Officer Spotlight... Sarthak Gupta Every single year, Sarthak Gupta has left an impact on Summit Key Club. Whether it was big or small, his actions are done from the heart, and for the best for the club. I am so humbly honored to have known this extraordinary young man for so long, and for all of his amazing work he does for the club and everyone else, I have chosen Sarthak Gupta as my officer spotlight. Since freshman year, Sarthak has been an avid Key Clubber. He keeps up with his hours, volunteers consistently and always keeps a positive influence on the club. He doesn't mind trying to convince others to join the organization and not only that, during EVERY single meeting; he mingles with members with this unique, fun-loving attitude that makes the members truly love him! Who wouldn't? Whether it's a hilarious joke, or something really sentimental, Sarthak always knows how to lighten someone's day. Sarthak sees volunteering not as gaining hours, but rather gaining the experience that could only be done through the acts of service. Without members and officers like Sarthak, Key Club wouldn’t be where it is today. Sarthak Gupta always maintains a positive attitude no matter how elusive the problem may become. With his beaming eyes and dazzling smile, Sarthak always gives off the true and perfect impression to anyone. I am so thankful and privileged to have gotten to know this kind, young man for so long. His infinite driving passion for Key Club is unstoppable and inspiring. With all that he has done, I cannot wait to see him prosper in the future.
