Did you know? Key Club has raised more than US$6 million for child survival and development programs around the world. Starting in 2012, Key Club joined Kiwanis SLPs to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF to raise money for The Eliminate Project.

Member Spotlight... Brandon Le This year, we gained another valuable member. As a sophomore, Brandon Le was involved in many extracurricular activities. Who knew that Key Club would soon be added to this list? Brandon finally decided to join Key Club at the start of his junior year. Ever since then, he completely fell in love. Every meeting, you can always expect to see Brandon; he has not missed a single one yet, not even for tennis. Thanks to Usman Hyder, we gained Brandon as a wonderful member in our club. Usman was the one responsible for getting Brandon interested in Key Club. After constantly trying to convince Brandon to join since freshman year, he finally caved and joined Summit Key Club just two years later. This year, Brandon decided to go to Fall Rally. After attending, Brandon became even more passionate about Key Club. “It was really cool to see all the clubs of Texas and Oklahoma gather all together in one place. I had a bunch of fun riding all the rides with my club, we really got to bond. Even though I’ve never been to D-CON, I got really excited when the theme of 2014 was revealed. Hearing each member of the district staff really inspired me. It really made me want to do more to contribute to Key Club as an individual,” Brandon stated when he was asked how he felt about his very first Fall Rally. We are thankful to Brandon, as well as every other member in our club. It’s our dream for every single one of our members to become as passionate about Key Club like Brandon has. Hopefully Brandon will remain ardent in volunteering and join Key Club again next year, everybody who’s willing to serve is a great asset to the community. We truly are lucky to have such great members in our club!
