Autumn Glory Collection Crochet 2018
Annie’s Signature Designs
The word “glory” means magnificence or great beauty, or to take great pride or pleasure in something. This is exactly what fills my mind when I hear it, and it seems to me like the perfect way to describe the pleasure and great pride I feel having created this new collection… Also it is no secret that autumn is my favorite season. The cooling of autumn, sandwiched between blazing summer and chilly winter, offers earlier nighttime arrivals and temperatures dropping. That nip in the air signifies the transition from summer to winter. I’m passionate about transforming my feelings for autumn into a collection full of modern and wearable clothes for you and your children, with styles designed to transition seamlessly from active to casual and beyond. It's intended to be new and different while keeping the core values and principles of Annie’s Signature Designs intact. I’m just as eager for the colorful days and renewed energy of the coming season as I am excited and proud to present this collection. Being a creative person, I love the challenge of making each collection fresh and new. My team and I put lots of energy into dreaming up this new collection back in February. Our goal was to create a crochet collection of fashion-forward garments that would appeal to women who are passionate about quality design. The designers I worked with did an amazing job interpreting my thoughts in the creative process, and their designs feel as close to my heart as my own. Thanks to that group effort, this collection offers something for everyone! From comfortinspired outfits to everyday delicate layers and trendy silhouettes, you'll discover endless options to make your wardrobe feel new again. Is there anything cuter than a baby in cuddly handmade outfits? Some of my favorite designs in this collection are supercute baby items! We’re bringing baby fashions back with versatile garments that combine functionality and style to create something just as special as your child. No baby collection would be complete without designs to entertain and comfort your little one, such as cuddly crochet teddy bears. A couple of cute and spot-on trendy baby blankets have you covered too! Your child will love snuggling up with these fun blankets as the days get cooler. The joyful feeling of a happy baby in my arms always warms my heart. The collection includes exquisite lightweight yarns in natural fibers. This season’s colors are dense, rich greens, plum, maroon, mustard and blues, mimicking the landscape near San Luis Obispo, Calif., where the photo shoot took place. I find this coastal gem to be out-of-this-world gorgeous, and the countryside is ablaze with color in autumn. As the light glistens through the atmosphere of the central coast, I cannot imagine a more scenic backdrop for this cheerful collection. So please come join me in this celebration of my love for crochet, yarn and everything about fall. I hope that I will inspire you to create something from the brand-new Autumn Glory Collection, and that you will be just as thrilled about this upcoming magical season as I am. This will be an amazing fall, and I would love to have you—and your children—come along with me and explore. Enjoy!

Scott Campbell
María was born and raised in Mexico City. She has always been involved with crafting since she was a young girl, thanks to her grandma and mom who taught her how to crochet and knit. Studies and work came along, but María always made time for these relaxing and fun hobbies. She started visiting local yarn stores in her spare time and fell in love with the beautiful yarn world. María became a teacher in two stores, and little by little she started writing crochet patterns too.
Scott Campbell has made a career of photographing the fiber arts for over 30 years. He continuously searches for light that illuminates and reveals the subtleties woven into the creations that he photographs. He enjoys collaborating in the creative process with designers, stylists and graphic professionals.
