Autumn Glow Collection Knit 2017

Annie’s Signature Designs

With the first cool breeze of fall easing down the golden coast, my crafty spirit is awakening. It’s that time of the year when we can all look forward to snuggling up on the couch to start some new creations. My lifelong love of working in yarn makes me so excited and proud to present this Autumn Glow Collection for Annie’s Signature Designs. Last March, I gratefully collaborated with a talented team of individuals with the goal of bringing you these two collections of crochet and knit designs. The creative stages since then were exhilarating as we immersed ourselves in trends, colors, yarn and creativity. Traversing the globe from traditional Nordic heritage to boho Californian influences, a thread is woven through this collection, creating a classic, timeless look. I think you will see that my uniquely Scandinavian style shines through as I apply my background and traditions in every detail of my designs. The designers I worked with also did an amazing job interpreting my thoughts in the creative process. Their garments look and feel as close to my heart as my own designs. As far as yarn selections go, natural fibers will always be number one on my list as they provide the best quality, look and feel. The rich, vibrant colors and textures stay crisp and graphic. You’ll see, though, that we provide you with a great variety of yarn choices. We’ve carefully paired these with each garment, hoping you’ll fondly reach for these gorgeous creations in your closet for years to come. The photo shoot took place in and around the one and only San Luis Obispo, California. I think the coast of California is out of this world gorgeous, and some of the places here are the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. With this lookbook I wish to take you on a journey through the back roads, watching these rolling hills bathed in the golden glow and exploring what has inspired me. View the trees, rocks and earth weaving together in an autumn tapestry. I just love seeing these garments photographed against the California backdrop. I hope looking through the pages that follow inspires you to create something in the Annie’s Signature Designs Autumn Glow Collection. Enjoy! XOXO,
