The Ann Korologos Gallery presents Inhabitations: Western Landscapes, a group exhibition of works by artists Peter Campbell, Dean Mitchell, Elizabeth Sandia, Andy Taylor, Marie Figge Wise, Simon Winegar, Dinah K. Worman and Dan Young.

The Ann Korologos Gallery is a premier source for Western Art in the Roaring Fork Valley, and a destination for art lovers to enjoy, shop and learn about fine art. The gallery represents 35 artists, many of whom live and work in the Roaring Fork Valley, and many specialize in landscape painting, both in-studio and Plein Air. Their styles range from representational (Dan Young, Peter Campbell, Dean Mitchell, Elizabeth Sandia, Simon Winegar) to more abstracted perspectives (Andy Taylor, Dinah Worman, Marie Wise).

“Collectors often favor works that remind them of specific locations and regions, whether that may be a souvenir vista from a special holiday excursion or the view from the front porch,” says Ann Korologos, gallery owner.

The exhibition features a selection of works influenced by the landscapes of the West, especially those which indicate man’s imprint and/or influence on the land. Artistic styles range from recognizable Colorado locations of Plein Air painters Andy Taylor and Dan Young to the majestic cloudscapes of Durango painter Peter Campbell and misty tonalist gems of Marie Wise, to Dinah Worman’s more abstract bird’s eye views, to the weathered barns of Simon Winegar, the abandoned structures of Dean Mitchell and Elizabeth Sandia’s color-saturated pastels.
