This 6 step programme is for employees who want to up their game as a line manager. 'Nail Your First Job as a Line manager ' will help your employees to Show Up, Speak Up and Step Up as confident leaders and gives them the opportunity to build solid leadership foundations that will support them throughout their entire career.

Step 1

Tame your inner critic: Getting to know Imposter Syndrome; something that affects over 70% of the workforce. Learn how to stop overthinking, overworking, perfectionism and procrastination in their tracks before they stop you.

Step 2

Develop the mindset of a leader: Learn to understand the way that your mind works, and set it to work for you rather than against you as you lead yourself and your team to success.

Step 3

Skills over style: Many new line managers become concerned about the leadership style they should adopt. Instead we focus on the skills that leaders need to develop, and how to dial those skills up and down to allow you to lead your team effectively in any situation.

Step 4

Understand yourself and others: We all have different ways of seeing the world, tackling a problem and communicating with each other. Using DISC behaviour profiling we take a look at how to use these differences to work productively together.

Step 5

Embrace the drama of leadership: We all play a role in the drama that happens at work, often without realising it! Using Karpman's Drama Triangle and Choy's Winner's triangle we will explore our role in the drama, and how to become a more connected team.

Step 6

Communicate with confidence and clarity: Excellent communication skills are essential when it comes to leading a team. Know when to speak and when to listen, and how to do both effectively.

The lowdown:

Each Step is delivered in a 2 hour session online (via Zoom/Teams). The 6 sessions are delivered fortnightly over a 12 week period.

Designed with the busy line manager in mind, work in-between sessions will take no more than 10-15minutes to complete.

Groups will run with a minimum of 6 and maximum of 10 people. If you do not have the minimum required numbers within your organisation please contact us as we may be able to run multiorganisational sessions for your employees to join.

Investment - £1200 per person, or £11,500 for 10 people (discount NOT applied in the case of multi-organisational groups).

Optional Extra - 1:1 coaching

Amplify your employees' development through 4 x 1 hour 1:1 coaching sessions. Coaching provides the time and space to explore leadership challenges and aspirations as they unfold, and accelerate growth, performance and effectiveness.
