Created in 1987, Toro DO is a relatively new production area. Pintia winery was started by Vega Sicilia, widely considered to be the best in Spain. Having spent 10 months in oak barrels both partly French and American, this wine displays a powerful, youthful charm. The nose reveals the scent of tobacco, sweet dark fruits, spices and integrated oak. Fullbodied, rough tannins and a bold structure complement the long, gripping finish.
