You love fragrances? You love purity and authenticity? You are interested in being holistically healthy and want to support your naturally healthy system?
Why Young Living?
1. Then you are at the right place. With the world market leader for pure essential oils and thus with the company that has rediscovered essential oils in pure form and also made them presentable. Meticulously and authentically, old proven knowledge has been brought into our age. Young Living stands for the highest quality - and nothing less should get onto your skin, into your lungs, and into your body. Essential oils have been with mankind for ages. But just when you start using them to support your own well-being and start thinking about a premium starter set, the question readily arises:
Young Living oils are completely pure. The oil that has been distilled is guaranteed to be exactly the same in the bottle, which means no additives, no alterations. It only goes on sale if it meetsYoung Living‘s high quality standards. And Young Living standards are among the highest in the world.
2.
The soil where it is grown is not chemically fertilized or contaminated with pesticides. There are even worm houses where earthworms are bred to recycle composted plant material into soil, which is then returned to the growing cycle.
4. 3.
Oils are distilled only via first distillations at as low a pressure as possible and at what is considered to be the best temperature. This can vary greatly from oil to oil. One oil needs 24 hours to be dissolved from the plant in the best possible way, the other 5 hours. For distillation, one wood needs to be aged for three years, while the other plant goes into the distillation process immediately after cutting. There are countless things to consider, and Young Living pays meticulous attention to every detail. With success, because this intricate, costly detail work is the guarantor of quality and a key reason for being both a pioneer and world leader in pure essential oils in the 25 years since its founding.
Young Living works only with its own farms or with partner farms that adhere to Young Living‘s growing regulations. It does not buy in or purchase plant material or essential oils through brokers on the general world market, as other companies do. When an oil sells out, we all have to wait for the new crop. There is no such thing as anything other than 100% quality. However, to minimize sellouts, more and more farms are being developed around the world, and the plants are grown and cultivated there according to their respective regional growing locations. The partner farms are supported by Young Living with high-quality equipment and technical devices, and the cooperation is designed for the long term. As a result, many family farms have been able to build a business that includes lifelong support and security.
5.
All farms are located away from major cities to be as pristine and uncontaminated as possible.
6.
Workers are paid above average wages and provided with all the necessary equipment - sometimes even cars. Which is quite necessary in more remote parts of big countries of this world (like Ecuador) to get to the farms at all.
7.
Through the company‘s own foundation, for example, the children of the workers are educated - sometimes through academies. The whole thing is supported by donations from the distribution partners, whereby the administrative part (i.e. offices, salaries, etc.) is borne entirely by Young Living. In this way, every donation goes 1 to 1 to the respective project. Source: Antje‘s Aroma Magazine ©
This is what Young Living calls the „Seed to Seal process“, all of this is thought of and more and more is added. It‘s the „Seed to Seal quality standard“ that applies to all Young Living essential oils.
Lemon Lemon oil is called the pure essential oil that is pressed from the peel of the citrus fruit. The lemon was cultivated in China long before the birth of Christ. Its journey went through Asia to the Greeks, and from there it came to wider Europe with the Crusaders. To extract one liter of oil, the peels of about 3000 lemons are needed. They are often a byproduct of the juice industry, and Young Living takes care to ensure the pure quality of these very peels. Check out our video from our partner farm Finca Victoria in Mexico: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GeAXCMWd_I
Lemons (Citrus lemon) give off a strong, clean, purifying citrus scent that is invigorating and brightens the spirit. It‘s simply wonderful to start the day with. Free the sun from the bottle, drip a drop of lemon oil into the palm of your hand and rub it in briefly. Now inhale several breaths of it, closing your eyes and simply enjoying the images that come up. Children love to have this scent in a diffuser in their room when they are doing their homework. Of course, our wonderful new owl diffuser works very well for this. There are so many ways to use this sunny oil.
For example, a really great feeling is to mix lemon oil with salt or sugar and then rub it under the soles of your feet. You can rub it in really intensely, leave it on for a bit, and then wash it off. The feet feel wonderfully light with it and the skin is velvety soft afterwards. Be careful not to walk around with the scrub under your feet. They are really very slippery with it.
Lemon F oot Scrub The recipe for a lemon foot scrub is:
100g of slightly coarser primal or sea salt without anti-caking agents, or. 100g raw cane sugar, 1 tbsp. coconut oil, 10 drops of lemon essential oil
What does photosensitivity or phototoxic act.ually mean? Safety note about lemon .essential oil:
.
Citrus oils should not be applied to skin if exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet radiation within 48 hours. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Do not get in eyes or on mucous membranes. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition, consult a physician before using the oil. Avoid direct sunlight or UV radiation for up to 12 hours after applying a citrus oil.
This is a term assigned to plants that contain furanocoumarins. Furocoumarins are secondary plant compounds that are very important for the plant and protect it, but can also determine its fragrance and support its effectiveness. However, furanocoumarins act in conjunction with UV rays, i.e. sunlight or sunbeds. Hereby, within certain periods and intensities, they form a chemical bond with the skin and can then cause sunburn-like conditions. As a result, hyperpigmentation can occur. In order to avoid this, photosensitivities are indicated for the oils and thus also time periods that should be observed after application.
Lavender Lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia) has a scent that is a wonderful mix of floral, fresh, clean and calming. It is this dynamic aroma that has always made this plant a classic for perfumes, soaps, air fresheners and beauty products. As one of our most popular products, lavender is a great oil for beginners and simply belongs in every home. Lavender oil isn‘t just a favorite because of its classic scent, it‘s also incredibly versatile. From skin care products to pure relaxation and calming, this oil can enhance many areas of your life, and applications abound. Lavender, for example, is the perfect skin support even after sunbathing, and a great conditioner for your hair. A possible cure pack is to mix a teaspoon of coconut oil with some lavender and let it soak into your hair overnight. A pillow protector is recommended for this.
Massaging baby‘s feet with a dab of coconut oil mixed with a diluted drop of lavender oil can be very beneficial to the wellbeing of the whole family. But be careful: essential oils should be diluted with fatty oils, not with water. They are grease-loving and water-repellent. Therefore, water on our skin enhances the essential oils, and fatty oil dilutes them. For a baby massage oil, you can dilute lavender 1:30. Lavender is also a wonderful oil to scent the bedroom in the evening. It‘s just nice to be accompanied to sleep with lavender - misted with a diffuser, for example. Who doesn‘t love falling asleep thinking about a meadow of flowers?
Have you ever eaten lavender ice cream? No? Neither had I, until two years ago. At our Young Living farm in Lehi (Utah, USA) we had milk ice cream with lavender. Simply delicious and also as a vegan version a pleasure. In a summer punch, lavender is an unusual floral flavor. When added to a syrup, lavender is also a great flavoring in many drinks, desserts and salad dressings. Please be careful though, only the Plus essential oils are approved for use as a dietary supplement.
Safety Instructions for Lavender Essential Oil:. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition, consult a physician before using the oil. For external use only. Do not get in eyes or on mucous membranes.
Thieves Thieves is summer and winter always a great blend of oils for our healthy immune system. This great blend of different essential oils is based on the recipe of the Marseilles 4 Thieves Vinegar. This is an exciting historical incident that is worth reading up on. The short version is that Thieves is based on the results of research about four robbers who used cloves, rosemary and other aromatic herbs to protect themselves while robbing plague victims. This thieves‘ blend was tested at a university and is so ingenious that it is also included in several Young Living household products. The individual oils included are clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus radiata and rosemary.
For use, Thieves can be applied under the feet, added to the diffuser for healthy room scenting, or added to massage oil as a „hot“ (since hot oils are included) massage during cool times - and so much more.
At this point, we would also like to introduce the waterless hand cleanser and the small Thieves spray. Example: Have you ever noticed that little kids in shopping carts, when sitting in the front, like to open their mouths and put the crossbar in their mouths? How much cleaner is it if you spray this bar with Thieves Spray beforehand and wipe it briefly with a cloth? It‘s so small, it even fits in pants pockets. Or: Have you ever thought about how many people don‘t wash their hands after going to the toilet? You can‘t tell who has and who hasn‘t? How much more hygienic is it to put waterless hand cleaner in your hands every now and then, when there is no way to wash your hands?
With birch sugar and Thieves Plus oil (the oils marked with a plus have gone through an extra approval and may also be taken), but also delicious and healthy sweets can be made (birch sugar is proven to be good against caries-forming bacteria).
Melt 100g of birch sugar in a pan (doesn't need high heat), add 5 - 15 drops of Thieves Plus oil and mix, put it into small ramekins or spread it on a plate and break it into pieces after it cools down - is allowed even after brushing teeth and before going to bed ;-).
Di Gize This oil blend combines tarragon, ginger, peppermint, juniper, lemongrass, anise and patchouli oils in a spicy, exotic mix of scents. It also contains fennel oil, which has been used for a variety of purposes since the time of the ancient Egyptians. You should always have this oil blend in your pocket. After all, you never know where hunger will take us. This mixture of essential herbal oils is a boon for our well-being and really should not be missing in any household.
Especially in stressful times and when traveling, where our digestive tract has to cope in unfamiliar surroundings and with unfamiliar food, this oil blend is a boon. And applied to the belly or to our foot wellness zones of the gastrointestinal tract, it unfolds a delicious herbal scent to boot.
Peppermint The incomparably fresh scent of this essential oil is widely known. However, peppermint offers much more than just a distinctive aroma. Nebulized by means of a diffuser, the oil creates an atmosphere of concentration. On the skin, it unfolds a pleasantly cooling, tingling sensation that is especially good after heavy physical activity. Whether applied aromatically or externally, peppermint essential oil adds a special fresh touch to any day!
Peppermintöil - cools tired muscles after physical activity, - creates an atmosphere of concentration when nebulized, - is ideal as a refreshing addition to shampoos or to apply to the skin after a day in the warm sun, - is good for an invigorating, refreshing experience when inhaled.
Peppermint oil can also be added to homemade chocolate as a plus oil. To do this, melt chocolate chips in a water bath and add 1 - 5 drops depending on the desired intensity of flavor, pour into ramekins or place as a plate on baking paper, allow to set and enjoy. Mix cacao powder with coconut fat and then refine the whole thing as a vegan version with peppermint oil.
During the workout drink your water with a drop of peppermint plus refined. Or on hot summer days, for example, put a few drops of peppermint oil in a glass atomizer bottle, and whenever you want your skin to feel cool, spray yourself with it.
Peppermint balances so many situations in life: as a support for your healthy musculoskeletal system, for rubbing on your neck and temples during long car rides, or by hand inhalation for a freshness boost. Peppermint together with orange or lemon in the diffuser after school pleases every school child during homework. And our Ortho Sport massage oil also contains peppermint.
Safety Note Peppermint Oil: It is recommended that peppermint oil not be used on children under 24 months of age.
Purification You want to get some fresh air quickly? For example, after dinner, or when the kids are home from soccer practice? The Purification essential oil blend contains our strongest odor-neutralizing essential oils and guarantees an atmosphere of freshness and cleanliness. This versatile product is just as suitable for musty offices as it is for dirty cars or children‘s rooms that need an urgent boost of freshness. The perfect oil to naturally clean indoor air without resorting to harsh chemicals or other aggressive products from the supermarket. The individual oils in this blend are citronella, rosemary, lemongrass, tea tree, lavandin and myrtle. If you are fortunate enough to have a felt laundry ball for your dryer, dripping 5 drops of Purification onto this felt ball and adding it to the laundry to dry is a treat for the nose.
Also nebulized over a diffuser this oil makes a wonderful room climate, especially when cigarette smoke is in the air or animal hair smells meet sensitive noses. Do you also know that the air coming out of the vacuum cleaner smells stale? Then drip 1 - 2 drops of Purification into the bag (but please not directly onto plastic parts). Many medical practices also love this scent in their waiting rooms. Purification scents not only rooms, but also body, mind, soul, and much more. It is wonderful to use even on small scratches on the skin.
Safety Note Purification: It is recommended not to use tea tree oil on cats. These lack an enzyme for metabolizing it.
F rankincense (Boswellia Carterii) The history of frankincense is thousands of years old. Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Jews, Christians, Muslims and many more used frankincense - partly for ritual and also religious purposes. Countless texts can be found in historical or religious writings, such as the Old Testament. The harvest of frankincense resin is a traditional science in itself. Only those who cut incense trees sustainably and with the right knowledge can ensure that they will continue to yield their resin for centuries to come. This is then collected and steam distilled depending on the quality. For one liter of essential frankincense oil, about 20 kilograms of tree resin from the frankincense tree are needed.
Frankincense essential oil has many uses, from supporting spiritual practices (such as meditation) to use in beauty products. Frankincense has an earthy, uplifting scent that is perfect for grounding and spiritual connection. Be sure to create a safe and calming environment when diffusing this oil with its empowering aroma-especially if you‘re goal-seeking or meditating.
In addition to supporting spiritual experiences, frankincense can help you keep your skin glowing. Its ability to make skin appear healthier is legendary. 1 - 2 drops of frankincense dropped into your daily skincare routine will result in a refreshed feeling. The healthy respiratory tract is also well accompanied with frankincense oil, and you can also make a body oil with it that is great to apply to your joints and back. I also really like frankincense in sweat lodges or when taking a sauna.
PanAway The popular PanAway® essential oil blend was developed by Young Living founder D. Gary Young. The proprietary formula of wintergreen, immortelle, clove, and peppermint essential oils features a refreshing, invigorating aroma and a pleasant cooling effect when applied to the skin. Whether for loosening tired muscles after physical work or training, or for a soothing wellness massage of the neck and back: PanAway has a calming and stimulating effect at the same time and should not be missing in any household as one of Young Living‘s most effective oils!
PanAway works well in combination with a carrier oil for shoulder and neck massages to enjoy the cool, stimulating aroma, and is ideal for relaxation (for example, when you‘re stuck in traffic or in noisy, crowded places, like an airport). Then simply rub a diluted drop of PanAway on your temples or neck. Or use diluted for a soothing wellness massage of the soles of your feet.
To make your own bath salts, mix 10 drops of PanAway with a cup of Epsom salt. Just half a spoonful of your homemade bath salt in the warm bath water will create a relaxing spa atmosphere. You can also use half a cup of cream as an emulsifier. This way essential oil spreads better in the bathtub.
Copaiba With its gentle, woody aroma, copaiba oil is the result of steam distilling the resin of the Brazilian Copaifera Reticulata tree. Copaiba oil is high in beta-caryophyllene and has a unique, sweet aroma profile that helps create a relaxing atmosphere when nebulized or applied to the skin. Copaiba is also a great addition to your skin care products. Add it to neutral moisturizers to take advantage of its natural scent and hydrating properties. It can also be applied after exercise for a soothing cooling effect. I like to mix it with frankincense and/or PanAway for a comprehensive workout blend.
A possible recipe for a body oil is: 100 ml of V6 or Arnica Macerate, for example. 20 drops of Copaiba 20 drops of Frankincense 20 drops of Pan Away
By the way: especially Copaiba I love also in the company of animals. For fur and paw care this oil is predestined.
RC R.C. essential oil blend is a powerful combination of the oils of spruce and cypress, as well as three different eucalyptus oils (E. citriodora, E. globulus, E. radiata). There are over 600 known species of eucalyptus, and of these, about 50 species give off essential oil. Eucalyptus was probably first mentioned in 1642, when Abel Tasman in Tasmania on his voyage of exploration described these trees, whose lowest branches begin only at a height of about 18 meters. Because of its enormous size and increased resin excretions, eucalyptus was later also called dragon tree.
The aroma gives fresh energy and motivation and is suitable for nebulizing as well as for direct inhalation before, during or immediately after a workout. Combined with V-6™ Vegetable Oil Complex, R.C. is the ideal blend for an invigorating massage with a true spa feel. Or use it undiluted as an invigorating fragrance that provides additional energy for particularly important days or appointments. Especially on cold, wet days, I love to mist R.C. in the diffuser by my bedside. Or to make myself a fresh smelling blend with a dab of coconut oil. I add 5 drops of R.C. to a tablespoon of coconut oil and that into a small screw-top jar. Applied to the chest, it‘s a boon!
Orange Where does it actually come from in origin? The name tells us a lot about it. „Orange“ = „Sina“ namely means „China“, and „orange“ for this reason „Chinese apple“. In China, this fruit was used as early as 2000 BC, and the emperors of the Tang Dynasty (600-900 BC) appreciated it so much that they had orange groves cultivated. From there it made its triumphal march through India to Babylonia, and by 800 BC it was already growing in the hanging gardens of Semiramis. The orange did not reach Europe until the 15th century and was initially cultivated in large tubs for ornamental purposes. The orangeries were built for their cultivation, and nowadays they are relics of that time that are gladly visited. From all these „original“ varieties of oranges developed today‘s orange, whose name is derived from Sanskrit.
For one liter of orange oil it takes 300 kg of oranges or about 3000 oranges. The oil is cold pressed from the peel. The essential oil extracted from orange peel has a lively citrus scent that invigorates the mind, but also exerts a calming influence. The scent of orange oil evokes a sense of peace and happiness. It has a high content of antioxidant D-limonene.
Orange reminds us of Christmas and good times. It creates an atmosphere of lightness and that is exactly why it is sprayed in department stores. Nebulized with a diffuser, orange essential oil brightens the atmosphere of a room, and people often converse more cheerfully with the support of orange scents.
Stress Away Stress Away contains a unique blend of lime and vanilla essential oils. This special combination gives the essential oil blend - among other benefits - its distinctive aroma. In addition, Stress Away contains Copaiba, known for its skin pampering properties, the soothing, refreshing scent of lavender, as well as cedarwood with the powerful plant compound Cedrol. By the way, did you know that the first scent we consciously perceive and unconsciously follow is vanilla? Right after birth, every newborn baby tries to find the direction of the mother‘s breast. The scent of vanilla beckons because the mother‘s milk smells like vanilla. Therefore, most people unconsciously associate vanilla with something positive.
Rounding out Stress Away‘s unique scent is the exotic aroma of Ocotea, a Young Livingexclusive essential oil from Ecuador. Nebulized at home in the evening, the fresh, soothing aroma promotes a sense of relaxation after a long, hard day. During work or class, StressAway can be applied to the wrists, allowing you to enjoy the pleasant fresh scent at any time. Or put a few drops on a cotton ball in the car‘s air vent for a relaxing ride home, even in the heaviest after-work traffic.
Stress Away is also suitable as a personal fragrance as well as in combination with Epsom salts for a soothing bath - or as an ingredient in Young Living Bath & Shower Gel-Base for a relaxing shower experience.
Safety Instructions Essential Oils: Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. During pregnancy, breastfeeding, taking medication or having a medical condition, consult a physician before use. Avoid direct sunlight or UV radiation for up to 12 hours after application.
General Safety Note: Of course, essential oils do not replace a visit to your doctor, your health practitioner; your alternative practitioner.
If you would like to purchase this wonderful set, have the person who advised and inspired you give you the Young Living Consultant ID. This will get you on his/her team. You can‘t buy Young Living products at the supermarket - and that‘s a good thing. The products require too much explanation. Especially in the beginning, many don‘t know the importance of quality when it comes to essential oils.
Many buy cheap scented oils, especially at Christmas, and are surprised that they then get headaches or allergies after a few minutes when they put them on their skin. Many buy scented candles with synthetic fragrances and experience the same disaster. Don‘t let something like that get into your body. Don‘t underestimate what you are breathing into your body through the fine alveoli that are responsible for your gas exchange/ breathing. Here it should really only be pure products and nothing that seems like it. In your team you will get a lot more inspiration
and information about what you can do for yourself and your natural health. If you just buy the oils somewhere on the internet on any platforms, a person benefits from it who has done nothing for it, who uses the busy being of others for himself. Young Living is worth more than that. Great fragrances, great quality, enthusiasm and support is much more than that. Even though you may just want to enjoy some oils for yourself, the person who inspired you is interested in doing more. I love this system.
We can all support each other as well as we each want for ourselves. Mindful, loving, supportive and fair and if you don‘t know anyone at Young Living and/or I have inspired you to try these oils, I am so excited to welcome you to my team. Feel free to contact me and if you would like to create an order account, my consultant ID is: 1279143. I would love to guide you through the registration process, so you get a lot of individual information from me right away. From my heart all love Your Antje Lüdemann
