I wanted to make the campaign focus on metal stimulation. I’ve decided to go with turning the can of effect into a battery for the campaign. Batteries power things, they give a new lease of life to a dwindling product. A burst of energy, to do anything. Multi-purpose, multi-functional. A solution to a lack of mental stimulation. Effect wants to communicate that their product is a mental stimulation, rather than physical. So I want to keep the sporting side of advertisement away from what I’m doing. Using illustrations, for the batteries, I think I’m able to avoid any links with sport and intensity. I’m restricted to using the logo of effect, and their colour scheme/branding, however the rest of the illustrations, I’m free to work how I’d like.
