An inclusive digital society The 47% of EU population is not properly digitally skilled, yet in the near future, 90% of jobs will require some level of digital skills An inclusive digital society is one where citizens have the right skills to seize the opportunities of the digital world and boost their chance of getting a job.

The full potential for improving education through ICT in Europe remains yet to be discovered. While digital technologies gradually embrace wider parts of everyday life, 60% of students never use digital equipment in their classroom.

MISSION

Do we need another association among several ones already existing? • While

Digital Education is a growing and fundamental phenomenon, in Europe there is a lack of representation embracing a bottom up approach and above all a body exclusively specialized on the Digital education environment • Too often initiatives in digital education arise from the good will of single organizations, struggling to achieve the right impact

Why my organization should participate? • Protected network of different and diverse organizations

• Aggregator of practices and ideas

• A platform to reflect, think and trigger new initiatives

In three years we aim to become the point of reference to EU Institutions and main players, on behalf of European organizations active in the field of ICT and innovative practices in education and training
