Graphics and the Computer
This class taught me the basic tools in how to create designs on a computer. I learned Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop through numerous exercises in class and homework assignments, particularly the poster design assignments seen below.

May 18 & 19 2015 San Mateo Event Center
Ii Jj Kk Ll Mm Nn Oo Pp Qq Rr Ss Tt Uu Vv Ww Xx Yy Final Poster Our final project consisted of creating a poster for an event that could potentially be created for that event as well as double as a flyer. I chose the Bay Area Maker Faire, which occurs very close to my house in San Mateo. Each of the photos within the robot are exhibits and inventions from past Faire’s.
Artist Poster Another on of our projects was to create a poster that is representative of an artist who had passed away, that could potentially hang in a museum to accompany an exhibition about their life.
Type Poster In order to prepare us for the later Letterforms and Typography class that focuses more on type and text layouts, each student was given a typeface to learn and create a poster centered around.
Letterforms and TypographY Letterforms and Typography taught me different layout techniques for text, the differences between fonts and typefaces, as well as other technical information regarding type. I also learned how to use Adobe inDesign, thus giving me the an enhanced ability to place text on a page.
Another one of our projects was to look at the different forms of multiple typefaces and create a unified whole using the letterforms from a specific font. For my example, I used the font Friz Quadrata to create a flowing shape using the letters d, f, q, and b respectively starting at the top left. The purpose of this project is do disconnect a letterfrom from it’s intended use and understand it as a basic shape in relation to other shapes.

These flyers are an example of how information can be conveyed in multiple different ways. The two flyers on the left are representations where we were able to use any type and size of the font Univers. Each student went through extensive revisions with new rules provided for each set. Letterforms and TypographY
The final project in my Letterforms and Typography class was to create a book that utilizes all of the skills we learned in the class. The book was entitled Design and the Play Instinct by Paul Rand. All of the text and images were provided, but each student was responsible for creating the entire book’s layout. To view the full book, visit: https://issuu.com/antoniatribuzi/docs/book1
Exhibition Design
In my Exhibition Design course, myself and a partner were responsible for creating an exhibit based on a specific major at UC Davis. This class taught me how to layout and exhibition space, but, more importantly, it gave me marketing experience. One of the important aspects for the entire process was coming up with a graphic identity, or branding, the exhibition. These renderings show some of the different marketing techniques that I designed for the fictional exhibition and where they would be placed in situational rendering. These are pages from the completed process book along with the title page.
Asucd Campus Center for the Environment I am one of the Graphic Design Interns at the ASUCD Campus Center for the Environment (CCE) on the Davis campus. I am responsible for creating graphics and illustrations to help promote the many things the CCE works towards, mainly composting, sustainable living and protecting the environment. The CCE has many different events and workshops that need flyers and facebook posts to market them to the general Davis population, which is what my job entails.

This is a flyer I designed for our recent Garden in a Jar workshop. I was asked by another intern to create this with specific instructions as to what needed to be included on the flyer. I followed her instructions, as well as suggested some edits in order to make the flyer more cohesive and straightforward.
Garden in aJar No backyard? No time? Don't let that deter you from getting your garden on! Learn how you can grow your own garden in a jar and how easy it is to grow your food!
Bring a small jar or container to make your own garden in a jar! There will be 20 jars provided for those who are unable to bring a container.

I created the three characters to the left as different levels for the CCE’s Energy Month. The marketing team thought up the ideas that if someone did certain actions that would help them conserve energy, they would be on the level of the Sustainable Sorcerer, Environmental Elf, or the Kill-a-Watt Wizard, respectively.
