Work Experience
Antton PeĂąa by name and born in the Basque Country, I am a young Industrial Design student that considers design as hes passion. Creative and perfectionist, I try to put attention on small things of each project. Interested principally on product design different opportunities gave me the chance to dive in different creative areas as identity creation or web design deeply.
My work experience started when I was 15. The opportunity to design and code a web page for a commertial business became the beginning of other projects that came before. Those works were principally for different Basque companies and organizations.
Mountaineer at free time, I enjoy breathing fresh air outdoors, practicing action sports to explore the nature. Canyoning, climbing, caving and trekking are the ones I usually practice.
Nowadays, I’m working as trainee at Mondragon unibertsitatea, As esponsible of publishing the next academic catalog and maintenance of the institutional web page. At the same time I have a 5 year work experience as canyoning/climbing/roller-skating instructor at Athlon S.coop and Arizmendi ikastola.

Small things make the difference. Security was a key point in this redesign. How to make the device safer without changing the users behave, and making easier to use? The mTouch has a tactile body, which activates the mixer only when it is held by a hand and after pushing the security button.

The litter-bin that will make children recicle
The aim of the project was to redesign the conventional seesaw into a modern and interactive option to dress up new child parks. Detected the necessity of bringing nature to the city, RecicLAS grows the surrounding grass while gives you the possibility to recycle. In this way a subconscious connection is created between human behaviours and the health of the nature.

This project was offered by ISEA, a private investigation centre based in the Basque Country. The idea was to create something related to water, sport and leisure for young people. The result was successful, but unfortunately be shown yet; it is waiting to be patented. I hope that it will see the light of day early.

Marble Package A product needs a dress to be sold. This is what packaging design tries to do. The aim of this project was to create a package for a unique marble. It had to be sold as a jewellery piece, as something elegant and not accessible for anyone. Models were made to test the space they need for transport, to minimise the material quantity used, and to try to be more green. The result is an elegant, and eco-designed package.

The identity design is something that goes further that a simple logo design. This example is a identity creation for “HerriUrrats”, a festival celebrated to help Euskara, the local language. “Urrats” means “step”, and this is the main key used on the creation, but a philosophy has been created to support the identity. The language is unused by the youngest population of the country choosing the slogan used by this reason. “Bihotz-Berritu” means “change”, and its something needed to make them feel the euskara as theirs. The five persons represent a family and the age diversity, creating a slope that refers to the hard work that will have to be done. The smallest one is the heart, because is the one that has to be fussed over while it is what means “bihotz” from the slogan. The whole conjunction makes a happy and colourful brand image, referring to ambient of the day of the event. It can be sow in the following page.
