IT’S TIME TO PARTICIPATE.

In America today, we are in a pickle. Sadly, there is really no one to blame but ourselves.

Most Americans are relatively decent folks who believe in God and the golden rule, and would help a neighbor in need; usually without even being asked. We trust people. And that has let us be hoodwinked by those who are untrustworthy.

I’m talking about politicians, not Democrats or Republicans specifically. If you review most politicians' voting records and net worth, it seems that nearly all career politicians are working very hard for themselves, and the public be damned. Many have been taking graft and making personal deals since arriving in Washington. Donald Trump got it right when he called for “draining the swamp”. Conservatives sure felt better when a “conservative republican” got elected even though it seems the erosion of civil liberties, privacy, rights, and respect has been whittled away just as diligently with a Republican president and congress as with the Democrats.

As the new “Political Elite” (as they consider themselves,) attempt to consolidate their power grab, we may be facing the last, best chance to STOP the tide of liberal socialism attempting to turn our country into a police state; one where all rights are lost and our freedoms become a distant memory. Those in power don’t intend to back off, back down, or quit. So it’s up to us to be informed and vigilant, to vote honorable people into office, and fire those same people if they break their promises to us; you know, the promises made made when campaigning? President

Trump showed us it WAS possible to keep a campaign promise in the face of tremendous resistance from Democrats AND Republicans.

Consider this: having the 2020 election stolen may have been the only way for God to wake America up. We need to return to our roots: love and respect for God, patriotism to our country, loving our neighbors as ourselves, and loving our God-given rights sufficiently to resist tyranny at every level. We may never have become as angry and motivated without the blatant theft of the election. But there is hope! Consider what God says:  "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."  2 Chronicles, 7:14 NKJV           Bad is from the top down – Reform happens from the bottom up!

Let’s ask for God’s help by humbling ourselves and repenting of our wickedness in letting the government in America get out of hand. Let’s speak up at meetings when those elected to serve talk down to us or ignore common sense. Let’s ask hard questions of local politicians. Tell them YOUR expectations. If they disagree, that’s okay, but don’t let them fail to answer your concern. How can you trust a public servant that’s so slippery he won’t answer an honest question or doesn’t have the courage to stand up for what he believes to be right?

Here is something to consider doing in addition to prayer to put feet to those prayers. Get involved at the local level. Run for office. Become a precinct committeeman. Volunteer for a board or two locally. You may or may not enjoy it, but if you DO get involved you will educate yourself and actually have some say in what happens at the local level.

All things are possible with God and we already have a great beginning with the recent replacements to the library board, Charlie Anderson excepted.

Voters replaced 3 county commissioners with conservative, honest, non-career people whose motivation was and is to serve humbly and honorably. Let’s hold ALL our local boards and elected officials accountable. It’s OUR government, we need to see that it’s run for the benefit of Campbell County citizens, not solely for the benefit of elected officials and county employees. The next item on the agenda needs to be to clean up the school board and school administration, From there we need to get our local school district back on track. If you see an incumbent running, don’t vote for them unless you know them to be on the side of the children, not the idiots in business to corrupt children through indoctrination, such as that which follows promotional paths of the LBGTQ variety. Their “suicide prevention” education is about indoctrinating parents to believe if they don’t respect the whims of their undeveloped children, those children will kill themselves. All they’re really doing is getting people to concentrate on suicide. One, that increases its likelihood. Two, the actual data show that suicide increases among those who live the LGBTQ lifestyle. Post-op transvestites kill themselves more than pre-op individuals do, that’s what the data incontrovertibly show. Things like *CRT, BLM, ALA, DEI, CSE, LGBTQ, and a host of other corrupt and wicked liberal programs championed by the educational elite and funded by liberal, power hungry billionaires like Soros and Gates, must not be tolerated they must be excised like the ideological cancers they are. We are seeing social contagion, the same that turned Germany into a heap of mindless jackbooted thugs. We have an opportunity to escape that fate. There’s only one way we can take that opportunity, though and that involves courage. Got courage? Let’s get to work and win this battle. Losing isn’t really an option we can live with, is it?

A Rant About Rods…

Authority refers to the right to exercise control over another, which, according to our Constitution, is given conditionally by the consent of the gov erned-voting citizens. Authority is often identified by symbols, seals, badges, flags, identification cards, and official letterheads.

In ancient Rome, the symbol of authority, specifi cally for the magistrate (judge), was the fasces. The fasces was a bundle of wooden rods with an axe head sticking out of one end. The rods were used to beat people who violated Roman law, and the axe decapitated people for capital offenses against the Roman state.

In a republic, the people delegate their authority to elected officials. In a sense, the people of the United States hand their fasces over to those they vote for. For people to have some authority over those they delegate to, they must be able to have their own set of rods to use on their elected officials. Those rods are the declarative statements a candidate makes about the things they will and will not do in office. Those statements are the rods and axe they hand back to the people to beat them with. When candi dates do not do what they say they will, they ask us to publicly batter them with their statements or axe their careers on the next election day.

The above point is critical and seems lost on the av erage voter today. When a candidate makes bland or ambiguous statements and speaks in platitudes, they are essentially saying nothing. They are not handing you the voter, your rightful authority over them, the rods of power.

Our universities are 95% to 98% staffed by liberal social activist professors. Since 1998, the ratio of conservative professors has gone from less than 15% conservative to less than 5% conservative professors in the vast majority of American Universities. Students are no longer taught how to think, but rather what to think. Perhaps universities and colleges should be defunded rather than the police? It’s bad enough we have to give and give and give our taxes, but to pay to be taught socialist philosophy may not be our best education strategy. Just imagine how the prospects a debt free 21 year old fresh out of an in-demand trade school’s prospects compare to those of a 4 year liberal arts major graduating with a degree in political science and a $150,.000 student loan debt.
