DEVELOPMENT Floor Plan The Holburne Museum (formerly known as the Holburne of Menstrie Museum and the Holburne Museum of Art) is located in Sydney Pleasure Gardens, Bath, Somerset, England. The city's first public art gallery. The museum reopened in May 2011 after restoration and an extension designed. Apart from the original one, the extension part constructed by glass walls. Therefore, two parts of the museum can identify easily.

Two skills would be applied for the drawings because of the big contrast. Coloring with water marker for the extension part and black-and-white pencil shading for the original part.

Step 5: Testing Try another color and another shading of the original part. LAI Ka Lee Karry

Step 4: Testing Color the plan and test which color is the most appropriated. In addition, try to draw the original part.

The maximum temperature in the Summer in Stanley regularly exceed 30 degrees. In Winter temperature remain above 10 degree. The minimum temperature display the large fluctuations, averaging 18 degree centigrade.

The southwest monsoon will bring in warm moist air and the warming up of the sea water. The southwest monsoon could sometimes lead to heavy rain. The chart shows that the amount of rainfall increase significantly in May which the total rainfall is 687.3mm.

Spring (around Feb to Apr) is the most humid time of the year in Hong Kong. It is sometimes affected by warm and humid maritime airstream, causing very humid weather and even the occurrence of mist or for.

As the cool season progress, the Sun moves south and the amount of sunshine decreases. The air over the Asian land mass cools down faster than that over the ocean. The resul ng temperature The air over the Asian land mass heats up faster than that over the ocean. This creates a temperature difference and brings a southwest wind from the ocean towards the land.

Tide gauge records since 1954 demonstrate an unambiguous rise of the mean sea level during this period. There was a rise of the sea level from 1990 to 1999 and a moderate decline thereafter. On average, the mean sea level in Victoria Harbour rose at a rate of 30 mm per decade during 1954-2014.

DEVELOPMENT Spatial Define For better transformation from the silhouette to the museum, study its building proportion is necessary. From the figure, dimension of the buildings along Stanley Main Street had shown, 6750/10000 = 0.7 31000/34000 = 0.9 34000/12500 = 2.7 31000/11000 = 2.8 31000/10800 = 2.9 13000/10000 = 1.3 Get rid of the high difference value, consider the result of 2.7, 2.8 and 2.9, all nearly 3. Therefore, 1:3 would be the first proportion.

From the figure, dimension of the buildings along Stanley Main Street had shown, 7000/ 6000 = 1.2 30000/ 9600 = 3.1 13000/11000 = 1.2 11000/10000 = 1.1 17000/12000 = 1.4 14000/13000 = 1.1 Get rid of the high difference value, consider the result of 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4, all nearly 1.2. Therefore, 1:1.2 would be the first proportion.

DEVELOPMENT Cooked Food Centre It is easy to find a cooked food centre in Hong Kong no matter in New Territories or Hong Kong Island. It provides a place for the locals to have lunch or dinner with a reasonable price. It mostly serves the locals rather than the tourists. As for a local facility in Stanley, a cooked food centre is highly appropriate for the price which set by the restaurant owners is not affordable for residents. Therefore, a cooked food centre is highly in need. From taking reference to the local cooked food centre, a small kitchen is a feature in there. Each small kitchen maintains one contract to the owner so lots of different types of food can operate at the same time. It is similar to food market, but people sit in the middle that tables are already set in the centre, not just sit in front of the shop.
