March 23-29 Asia Pacific eXchange and Leadership Development Seminar (APXLDS) is an annual leadership conference that boasts to be one of the largest regional conferences hosted by AIESEC. The conference focuses on cultivating young people’s leadership potential and creating an international learning environment that centers on cultural sensitivity,

Global Village is an excellent platform for delegates to showcase their culture and experience cultures around Asia Pacific. This year, Global Village aims to reach out to over 2000 participants including

not only delegates from APXLDS and YLS, but also to Singaporean youth, corporate entities, media and government. Through such extensive engagement, Global Village will create a large impact on society.

Expectations for Delegates

Since Global Village involves more than 2000 participants from various backgrounds, it is important for you and your delegation to obey the following rules: • Each delegation will be given a booth to exhibit your items • Showcase your traditional culture with costumes/ flyers/ booklets/ postcards/ posters/ packed local food • Prepare at least 1 traditional performance and 1 game • Introduce your country to local participants and the public

• Prepare materials (ppt etc) to showcase the projects and how they impact community • Keep at least 1 person at your booth at ANY time • NEVER leave your booth empty • NO display of flags in Global Village • Follow CC’s instruction • HAVE FUN!


Asia Pacific

March 25 As the Asia Pacific region continues to grow and expand, youth and businesses alike have to keep up with the fast pace of advancement and have to equip themselves with skills that are essential to bring the region to the forefront of the world stage.

The inaugural Asia Pacific Youth to Business (Y2B) Forum organized by AIESEC Singapore will therefore serve as a platform for two-way interaction and collaboration between youth and businesses in Asia Pacific for Asia Pacific.

Asia Pacific Awards & Singapore Night March 28 Singapore Night is an opportunity for our international delegates to learn more about our diverse cultures and savour Singapore’s local cuisine. With Singapore’s distinctive multi-cultural environment, the event will showcase the unique diversity. In celebration of the achievements of AIESEC in the Asia Pacific, the event will also reward the efforts of AIESEC entities that have shown notable performance to the growth of the Asia Pacific network.

Farewell Party & Beach Barbeque March 29

On the last day of APXLDS, the APC CC team is organizaing a Singapore-styled Barbeque to celebrate the success of the conference. What can you expect at the party? Food, drinks, beach, and Friendships!

CC will send the necessary documents to your email/mailing address whichever is necessary within 1 week upon receiving your inquiry.

Step 3

Upon receiving your visa documents, please proceed to the nearest Singapore embassies and apply for the visa. (Singapore Embassies information)

Step 4

Once receiving your visa, please inform the chief delegate in your delegation. CC will confirm with the chief delegates in visa required countries to ensure the successful visa application.


Insurance All delegates are advised to prepare insurance covering the full duration of APXLDS (23 - 29 March). The insurance is to be presented to the CC team during check-in. The CC team reserves the right to refuse check-in without any exceptions if the delegate does not possess insurance upon checking in.

Arrival & Pre-stay


Arrival b y Flight Delegates landing on 22nd and 23rd March are expected to meet the CC reception team upon arriving in Singapore! Pick up time: 0800h – 2230h (GMT +8), 22 - 23 March Pick up point: the arrival halls in 3 terminals in Singapore Changi Airport Note: for delegates arriving between 2230h 22nd to 8:00h 23rd March, you can either choose to take a taxi (estimated cost at night: S$30) to the accommodation or wait until the next morning for CC pickup. There will be at least 2 receptionists at any of the arrival halls for assistance.

From Changi Airport to Pre-Stay (22 March) / Global Village (23 March) The transportation from Changi Airport to Pre-Stay/GV will be by MRT (train) with a cost of S$2.20. Note: CC will NOT cover the cost from the pick up point to pre-stay/GV.

Pre-Stay As CC is trying to provide a more convenient while lower price prestay accommodation for the delegates, the option for pre-stay has been changed to 1 hostel with 2 branches. The prices for the 2 different branches are S$25 & S$28 respectively. The options will be shown in next page. However, please understand that due to the limited space in Singapore, the pre-stay reservation is on first-come-first-serve basis, so please confirm your flight and make reservations as early as possible.
