Theme!
Asia Pacific:
Driving Momentum onto the Global Frontier The 21st Century belongs to the Asia Pacific region as it is witnessing the rise of not only the giants of China and India, but also sub-regions such as Southeast Asia. As the region continues to grow and expand, youth and businesses alike have to keep up with the fast pace of advancement and equip themselves with skills that are essential to bring the region to the forefront of the world stage. The inaugural Asia Pacific Youth to Business (Y2B) Forum organised by AIESEC Singapore will therefore serve as a platform for two-way interaction and collaboration between youth and businesses in Asia Pacific for Asia Pacific.
!"#$%&$'#(#'
Forum Tracks! The Asia Pacific Youth to Business (Y2B) Forum consists of 3 parallel forum tracks dedicated to different socio-economic issues affecting Asia Pacific today. These are Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Innovation. This forum will be attended by close to 500 youth leaders. They will provide a truly Asia Pacific youth perspective and possible solutions to the topics discussed.
Entrepreneurship !
Corporate Responsibility
Youth identifying opportunities in the world and acting on it by starting new companies.
! What is the role of youth in Corporate responsibility?
The topic is about supporting a new generation of entrepreneurs to see ‘problems’ as ‘opportunities’, take action to identify the solutions and help create more value in society.
Companies are addressing the social, environmental and economic impacts of their operations. The topic is about what youth are aware of and thoughts on how they can support a sustainable future together with the corporate sector.
Innovation !
Innovation plays an important role in the world we are living in today. New ideas can be translated into new experiences and solutions. The topic is about how youth can bring innovation and generate ideas that can connect businesses to the future needs of society and more specifically the needs that generation Y and Z have.
