We’ve talked a little about affirmations and their value. The Visioning Process takes that to a whole new level. The Visioning Process is simple, however its not always so easy to practice. In The Visioning Process you literally operate as if the future you want, the vision you want already is. We call this “standing in the future.” Most people stay stuck in the past. So for example if you are determined to lose 15 lbs, you would go out and by a pair of pants for your new size. It is as if you can see, hear, taste and feel that vision now. Vision Boards are a great way to begin practicing this process, as well as closed-eye meditations.

APPLICATION

Write out your vision for your life, minimum one standard notebook size page, in the present tense and read it everyday for 30 days. It is CRITICAL to write it as if it has already come true. You can also record it on your phone and listen to it everyday as you workout or drive or even walk the dogs.
