Leilani Nichols and her husband, David, started After The Wine Decor out of their passion for wine, adventures, great memories with friends and family, and the love they have for God and each other. After celebrating their oneyear anniversary in 2017 with a bottle of their favorite wine, Roma, they admired the beauty of the bottle and thought, “There's got to be something we can do with this bottle besides throw it away and something more than just recycle it. We pondered our evening and the memories we created. Having a love of architecture, travel and history, we thought, ‘What if we created something timeless and beautiful that reflected how God lit a path that brought us back together after 25 years and thought of that light within our hearts?’ We then realized we needed to create a lamp out of this fabulous bottle of wine to help remind us of our evening and the memories we created. What most people throw in the trash, we wanted to re-purpose into something beautiful.” For Leilani, the lighting in a home creates a mood for any experience, an ambiance that makes you feel something, and it sets a tone. They want their wine bottle lamps to create a conversation that lights both your heart and home. Leilani’s love of design and art, along with her husband's engineering and fabrication expertise, came together beautifully to create one-of-a-kind nightlights, fully functional lamps made from re-purposed wine bottles and liquor bottles, wall art and home decor items made from recycled wine corks. These items make wonderful gifts, decor for parties and weddings and add a unique touch to any home. After The Wine Decor also creates custom wine or liquor bottle lamps out of your favorite bottle. Just imagine the story you can share with your friends and family and the history that you can pass down for generations to come, the memories never forgotten through a simple bottle of wine.
