A Holistic Recovery Campus
COMING SOON TO EASTERN, NC
H
aven at Blue Creek is nestled on a 300-acre land parcel amid beautiful rolling farmlands on the outskirts of Greenville, North Carolina. Greenville is well known for its major health system that is one of only a few; level one trauma centers that are integrated with a top-notch medical school. Mild weather year-round makes North Carolina an exceptional location for addiction treatment and recovery. Open aired and expansive, the campus creates a serene and carefully planned campus where healing happens. The Haven at Blue Creek campus is both peaceful and private, boasting three bodies of water and a wooded perimeter that provides privacy and serenity. Initial construction of the campus has begun, with a Spiritual Renewal Center and athletic facilities, including an Olympic-sized pool, already completed.
COMMITTED TO YOU Haven at Blue Creek is a family owned and operated, world class treatment center, dedicated to being a safe haven to those wanting to change their life. Their team is driven by passion to provide the best care to patients that need focused time, education, and empathy within a community-based facility. They are a registered not for profit center that is 22
committed to a mission that will lift people with a lifetime of hope. Rich and Colleen Balot are deep into a thorough development of Haven at Blue Creek. This substance use disorder campus is being thoughtfully developed from the ground up, with both best practices and the needs of Eastern North Carolina top of mind. What will result from their commitment to this project is a much-needed addition to the community that promises recovery for many and positive growth for the entire region.
OUR COMMUNITY, OUR FAMILY. The Balot’s have a home-grown passion for this project decades in the making. Colleen and Rich Balot are long-time residents of Greenville, graduates of East Carolina University, and active members of the Greenville community. If being “green-blooded” could be said about a family so rooted in this community, then the Balot’s are proud to be so. Rich Balot started his first business as a teen here at DH Conley High School, followed by a second at the age of 19 while a freshman in college. The Balot’s now own multiple businesses in Greenville, which have added 500+ jobs to the region in the last 12 months alone- a figure which is among their greatest rewards from the experience.
