Car Load Ticket Tuesday, 21st September ONLY $60 per car load Maximum six passengers For the first time in Pitt County’s 100 year history, we are offering a brand new way to enjoy the fair and save money! On the first day of the fair you will be able to purchase a car load ticket at the gate, which entitles up to six people in the vehicle admission to the fairgrounds, and wristbands to ride all day on that first day. Tickets must be purchased on the day, and cannot be purchased in advance.

Registration and Rules REGISTRATION An exhibitor number will be used throughout all departments. Pick up your exhibitor number at the registration desk before going to individual departments. Entries accepted Friday, September 17 5:008:00 pm and Saturday, September 18 from 9:00 am– 6:00 pm and Sunday, September 19 from 2 pm - 5:30 pm. Exhibits will be released Monday, September 27 from 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Premium checks will be issued at this time. Livestock will be released Sunday, September 26 from 3 pm– 6:30 pm. RULES The following rules and regulations shall be followed by each exhibitor. Special department rules take precedence over general rules if there is a conflict. 1. The Pitt County American Legion Agricultural Fair is not responsible for loss, injury, theft or damage. 2. In the event of severe weather which may cause a decrease in attendance and gate receipts, fair management reserves the right to award prizes at 50% of the listed premiums. 3. Management may close the fair any time it is necessary. 4. All youth entering an exhibit will receive an award. 5. Previously entered items are not acceptable. 6. All protests must be in writing and will be considered by fair management and this decision will be final. 7. Exhibitors must reside in North Carolina. 8. Only one entry per class per person will be accepted.

9. Premiums will be paid for Exhibit Hall winners on Monday, September 27, 3:00-6:30 p.m. 10. No premiums will be paid after 60 days. 11. Deteriorating produce will be discarded. 12. Inappropriate or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. The fair reserves the right to expel any person from the grounds. 13. Decisions of the judges will be final. 14. No exhibitor shall be within hearing distance of any judge during judging exhibits. Violation of this rule may disqualify any exhibitors. 15. The Fair shall not be liable for typographical errors in the Premium Catalog. 16. The Fair may refuse to exhibit any work deemed offensive or inappropriate. 17. Pets are not allowed on fair ground property. 18. Outdoor events do not have rain dates and may be cancelled because of inclement weather. 19. No food or drink shall be allowed in Exhibit Hall or livestock areas. 20. One Youth and one Adult winner will be selected from “Best in Show” to represent Pitt County at the NC State Fair in Raleigh October 14-24. Entries will be entered for a $1,000 Grand Prize at the State Fair.

MEGA PASS: Admission plus Wristband $32.00 Purchase online (www.pittfair.org) for $25.00 until 8:00 AM TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 During Fair Week you can still buy wristbands and admission for the full price of $32.00. Credit Cards are ONLY ACCEPTED ONLINE and not at the gate or Powers Ticket Booths. MIDWAY RIDE WRISTBANDS are good until closing and are for sale inside the gate on the Midway TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, AND SUNDAY for $32.00 each, or you may purchase ride tickets for an individual ride.

Livestock Exhibition The Pitt County Fair is proud to showcase the many types of locally raised livestock. Producers may exhibit: cattle, horses, swine, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, or other domesticated fowl and livestock. 1. All owners are responsible for feed and care of animals while at the fair. 2. Ill-tempered and dangerous animals will not be allowed. 3. All horses must have a current coggins paper. 4. All sheep and goats must have an approved scrapie ID. 5. All swine must have approved state ID tags. 6. All Chickens must be inspected by NCDA on Tuesday, September 21 from 12-3 PM. 7. All livestock must be on fair premises by 4 PM September 21. 8. Livestock may be taken home on Sunday, September 26 after 3 PM. 9. Exhibitors will receive a livestock pass to access their animals during fair hours. 10. Limits on total number of animals per person may be set due to pen space. 11. Marye Amanda McDaniel Marye Amanda McDaniel is a singer-songwriter from Greenville, North Carolina. As an artist, Marye Amanda has had various singing opportunities. She has performed at the NC State Fair, NC Seafood Festival, and CMA Fest in Nashville. In July 2017, Marye Amanda sang at a Thursday night show at the Bluebird Café. She returned to the Bluebird Café in 2018 to sing at a Tuesday night show. Marye Amanda has also been recognized for her hard work as an artist. In 2016, Marye Amanda won the Carolina Music Award for Youth Artist of the Year. Marye Amanda then returned to the Carolina Music Awards in 2017, and she won Youth Video of the Year with her original song, “Smoke and Mirrors.” Marye Amanda is currently nominated for the 2019 Carolina Music Awards Americana Artist of the Year and Americana Vocalist of the Year at the 2019 Josie Music Awards. Peyton Gray will be accompanying Marye Amanda on guitar. Peyton Gray is a multi-instrumentalist from Angier, North Carolina. He has been playing and performing music since he was ten years old. Peyton is currently enrolled at East Carolina University and has performed with various acts around the state.
