We are pleased to offer a comprehensive collection of Islamic jewelry. The collection consists mainly of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants, rings, pins, brooches, and ornaments. The collection has been assembled over several decades and mostly purchased from the jewelry collection belonging to Mrs Patti Birch of St. Thomas, of the United States Virgin Islands. Some of those pieces were exhibited in the Jewelry Museum in Pforzheim, Germany. The pieces in this collection cover the historical development of some 3000 years of pre-Islamic and Islamic civilizations mainly from northern or north-western Iran. There at the edge of the Caspian Sea and in the Zargos mountains, where different civilizations succeeded each other and have left their treasures.
