ANTIQUE SHOW AND SALE MARCH 28

Mark Twain Lake Antique Show and Sale will be held on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be lunch served. Admission is $5. This annual show is sponsored by Xi Beta Xi sorority.

EASTER MUSICAL SET FOR MARCH 25

The Presbyterian Wednesday after school kids group will present an Easter musical, “Some Kind of Happenin’s Happenin’ in Jerusalem”, Wed., March 25, 6:30 p.m., at the church, 330 W. Caldwell. Everyone is invited.

MADISON 4-H SPAGHETTI DINNER

Madison 4-H members will hold a spaghetti lunch fundraiser on Sunday, April 12, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Madison Lions Den. Menu: Spaghetti, Rolls, Salad, Drink, Dessert. All monies raised will be to help members attend camp. For additional information contact Bonnie Hendren 660-6516999

SOIL & WATER INTERN POSITION AVAILABLE

If you have completed a year of college by this summer, you are eligible to apply for the summer intern position at the Monroe County Soil and Water Conservation District Office located in the USDA building in Paris. The student intern needs to be capable of doing field work (surveying), computer programs, and good public interaction. High School Gymnasium. Aly Francis, The pageant, in its 80th year and daughter of Tony and Barb Francis, was currently sponsored by Alpha Phi Socrowned 2015 Jr. Miss Paris during the rority, is an annual rite of passage for evening’s event. See Miss Paris on page 10

On Tuesday, March 24 Jason Lage, 32, Columbia, with his attorney James McConnell, appeared before 10th Circuit Associate Judge David Mobley, at the Monroe County Courthouse, for his preliminary and probable cause hearing. Lage is charged with seconddegree murder (A Felony), and two other

felony charges - armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence in felony prosecution. All charges rose out of the February 19, 2014, shooting death of Zachary Dawson, in Madison. The prosecution brought forth eight witnesses to testify in their portion of the
