Paris FFA still has mums available. The public can come by any time between 8 a.m., and 2 p.m., or make other arrangements through students in the horticulture class or FFA Advisor Elicia Hickman. Nine inch pots will be $7 and the 12’’ trio pots will be $14.

2014 Fall-In-To Paris to feature recording artist Becky Blackaby

Fall-In-To Paris is set for Saturday, September 27. The annual event is sponsored by the Paris area Chamber of Commerce. Missouri Heart Gallery will be on display In Hannibal Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd has announced the Missouri Heart Gallery will be on display at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 South Main St., Hannibal, on Sept. 22, 24, 25 and 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Missouri Heart Gallery is a joint effort between the Missouri Department of Social Services and the adoption Exchange of Missouri to raise awareness

about children in need of foster and adoptive families in Missouri. The display contains pictures and information about many of the 1,400 children eligible for adoption in Missouri. Currently, the Tenth Judicial Circuit, which consists of Marion, Monroe, and Ralls Counties, has more than one hundred seventy children in

fostercare, and more than 12,000 children are in fostercare within the state. The Tenth Circuit has a great need for additional foster families. ARMSE TO MEET SEPT. 19

The Hannibal Mark Twain Chapter of the Association of Retired Missouri State Employees (ARMSE) will meet on Friday, September 19, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Nutrition Center, 219 South Tenth Street in Hannibal. Our program will be given by Bob Brammer from Macon, who will speak on the art of being a beekeeper. All current and retired State employees are encouraged to attend. Reservations are not required.
