Eager Beavers and Young Farmers sweep Christmas Parade titles
MADISON SWEETHEART BANQUET NEEDS PERFORMERS
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, December 16 at the Madison Area Community Center for anyone interested in being in the play to be presented at the Madison Sweetheart Banquet on Sunday, February 15. SOMETHING’S UP DOWN IN BETHLEHEM
The kid’s group at the Paris Presbyterian Church will present the musical, “Something’s Up Down in Bethlehem” by Janet and Ted Wilson, Wednesday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m. Twenty-four children from K6th grade, will portray this Christmas story of compassion and love. An offering for Christmas Is Caring will be taken following the performance. Come and enjoy this wonderful celebration of Jesus’ birth with the kids.

Washington, every Monday and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The open enrollment period for 2015 coverage is from November 15 through February 15, 2015. Eager Beavers and Farm Bureau Young Farmers take first place in parade...
Taking first place in the Paris Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored Christmas Parade were in the float category Eager Beavers 4-H Club and in the non-float category the Farm Bureau Young Farmers. 10th Judicial Circuit again wins O’Toole and Permanency awards
On behalf of the Tenth Judicial Circuit, Presiding Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd accepted the 2013 Daniel O’Toole and Permanency awards, presented by Judge Richard Teitelman of the Missouri Supreme Court. Also accepting the awards were Judge David Mobley of Ralls County, Judge John Jackson of Marion County, Judge Michael Wilson of Monroe County, Ralls County Circuit Clerk Gina Jameson, Monroe County Circuit Clerk Heather Wheel-
er, Marion County-Palmyra Circuit Clerk Valerie Munzlinger, Marion County Circuit Clerk-Hannibal Carolyn Conners, the deputy clerks, and the Tenth Circuit Juvenile Office staff. The ceremony took place at the Ralls County Courthouse in New London, on November 26. Numerous court partners attended the ceremony, including representatives of the Tenth Circuit Bar Association, the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Children’s
Division, and the Ralls County Sheriff ’s Department. Judge Shepherd provided a “Thank you” lunch to all who attended the ceremony. The Tenth Circuit, which includes Marion, Monroe and Ralls Counties, was only one of four circuits in the state to meet all ten of the ten time standards measured by the Missouri Supreme court for timely and efficient case management See 10th Circuit... Santa Fe Christian Church will hold their Christmas program, on Friday, December 19, at 7 p.m.; and on Sunday, December 21 the church members will hold Jesus’ birthday party.

The Paris Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir and players will present a Christmas musical, :The Living Light” by Ruth Elaine Schram, at the church, 330 W. Caldwell, on Sunday, December 14, at 10:45 a.m. You are invited to come join in their celebration. Soloists are Bryanna Conboy and Ed Bordeleau.
