Put Education First
The Put Education First campaign is a network of parents, educators, and community members standing up and campaigning for public education in Victoria
We want to see Victoria's public education system get the investment, resources, and qualified workforce it needs to support every student Everyone - no matter their income, background, or circumstances - deserve a quality education From kindergarten to school to TAFE, public education is an investment in our future.
Join us in calling for greater investment from both state and federal governments for public education in Victoria, to give every student the best chance of meeting their full potential.

Remember to lodge any OH&S incidents on eduSafe as soon as possible after an incident occurs or a hazard is identified Staff are able to report incidents, injuries, and hazards themselves or on behalf of others This includes incidents and hazards that have the potential to cause psychological harm The types of incidents and hazards that can be reported include:
Biological, chemical, and substance related hazards, Drowning or immersion hazards, Electrical hazards, Trips/falls, Heat or cold related hazards, including fire, Muscular or vocal stress, Excessive noise or vibrations, Radiation, Self-harm (including suicidal ideation, suicide, or attempted suicide)
Vehicle related hazards, Work-related violence (including kicking, spitting, threats, verbal assault, or abuse, even if accidental)
Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, short term, and strictly confidential counselling service delivered for the Department through an independent provider, Lifeworks
The EAP can be accessed by all Department employees, immediate family members of Department staff, and school council employees including Casual Relief Teachers employed by school councils It is available 24 hours, 7 days a week for up to four sessions, in which staff can discuss any personal or workrelated issues
To access the service, call 1300 361 008 to make an appointment. Appointments can be booked at a time and location that works for you, over the phone or faceto-face.

We are excited to invite you to our 2022 First Nations AEU Members Forum At the forum, we will continue the work of building our voices in union, our workplaces and public education
The forum is constructed around making connections through yarning and storytelling from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members and other First Nations leaders and activists
