RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Park view is a single family three level town home. The interior design ties together the five elements of Feng Shui: water, wood, fire, metal, and earth. The five elements help to balance the space and add positive and supportive energy within. The living room would represent fire, the dining represents earth, the bedrooms represent metal, the bathrooms represent water, and the kitchen would represent wood. The interior design is a mix of traditional and modern styles. The layout of the furniture, colors, and fixtures are all based around the five elements of Feng Shui. The basement level in the space is used for a second living room or family room, which also has an added bathroom and laundry room. The second level (first floor) of the space includes a keeping room, kitchen, dining, and living room. Throughout these two levels variations of the color red was used to add positive energy within the space. The third level includes the master bedroom and bath, and two additional bedrooms with Jack and Jill bathroom connection. Accents of white were used in the bedrooms to represent wealth from the 5 elements of Feng Shui. Within the bathrooms the accents of black were used to represent energy.

HOSPITALITY DESIGN
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Ventura Hotel, a home away from home, encourages healthy living, relaxation, and sustainability. Inspiration will come from the connection between human health and nature, which will guide the direction of the design. Bringing nature inside the space through the use and application of natural materials, lighting, and art work installations will enhance the designed environment to create a unique setting for the visitors and staff.
PALETTE INSPIRATION The inspiration for color and textures were provided through natural elements. Nature is the number one solution to healing and smoothing the human body. The interior application is designed to enhance relaxation and wellness.

SUST 740 PRACTICES IN SUSTAINABLE DESIGN INTRODUCING TWO WORLDS
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Mapping Savannah’s local textile ecosystem to identify studio producers, investors, suppliers, and organizations, to facilitate the emergence of a sustainable and equitable economy. We will align the efforts being made by young fibers students at SCAD with the initiatives that Accelerate Savannah has been stewarding. We will work with these students throughout the quarter to learn about their aspirations, processes, challenges, and supportive networks. We will deliver a working network system that introduces the fibers students to the major players within the community and highlight the potential that is already existing in Savannah. Our network has the potential to grow and foster valuable relationships between community leaders and the SCAD student community.

Throughout the quarter, the fibers students were developing their very own mass produced product lines. Our final solution was to provide a platform for their product pieces to be displayed to the Savannah community, while creating emphasis on the opportunity for their personal business ventures to strive in the local studio production market.
FINAL POP-UP SHOW
THE NATURAL STEP The Natural Step is a power tool used often within the Sustainability Department. It provides a method for crafting pathways to long-term success. Our graduate class integrated language like this at then Final Pop-Up Show, to facilitate conversation among the Fiber Students and community leaders.
