Working alongside our clients to create bespoke castings that are unique but also meet load classes and other requirements. A COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN SERVICE We believe in letting nature take its own course with every material in the outdoor environment but we do offer alternative finishes that can alter the aging process of our castings. Raw cast iron starts out grey in colour but upon contact with water begins to rust into a bright orange colour which will eventually wash or wear away, leaving behind a richer, chocolate brown patina. To bypass this natural progression we can offer a baked oil finish, powder coating services to any colour or even apply a special protective treatment post-rust that will maintain the colour in a darker more attractive finish and help protect the grate from further corrosion.
