The study of building types has sensitised to understand the typical characterstics of each typology and there importance as the built edge to all urban spaces. Further, the study of urban blocks helps to study in building in sense of scale, proportion and context in an urban space. It establish the importance of built edges, hights, width in an urban space. The study of streets and open spaces has superimposed human scale perspective to the sence of scale and proportion. Understanding the importance of people in urban space in cojuction with urban design elements has librated the mind beyond the aesthetic and functions of urban design. It developes the connection between the design and the people establishing the essence of urban spaces as the place for the people. At last, after understanding all these elements of urban design. The purpose is to design the street which has diversity of urban spaces which makes it lively by incorporating elements and staratergy available for all members of the society. Jane Jacob’s idea of having eyes on street is well understood through the study of mix use spaces that creates the environment which remains active throughout the day.
