Es el caso de Adriana Meunié, quien trabaja con lana, esparto, rafia, hilos antiguos y cueros para ensalzar la cultura milenaria de la isla a través de sus telares, verdaderas obras de arte.

En cuanto a Balbina Fullana, produce con sus manos piezas de cerámica que dan fe de un trabajo “slow y minimalista, ligado a una vida más sostenible y cercana”. Otra ceramista destacada es Tonia Fuster, cuyas lámparas con una clara inspiración mediterránea y balear tienen seguidores en todo el mundo. Al igual que las piezas de Dora Good, creadas en el idílico pueblo de Deià.

La artista multidisciplinar Marta Armengol ha trabajado en la escenografía de conciertos de la cantante Rosalía, aunque su pasión es el vidrio, “un material mágico” con el que crea sus originales esculturas. La pintora Elena Gual, que

ha estudiado en las escuelas de pintura clásica más prestigiosas en Florencia, Nueva York y Londres, crea sus cuadros con espátula “como si fueran pasajes de mi propia vida”.

La pintura, la ilustración y la fotografía son las disciplinas de Carmen Arbós, que dan como resultado obras espontáneas y desordenadas, abstractas y figurativas a la vez. En cuanto a la artista plástica Amparo Sard, quien ha expuesto en varios países, reivindica el pasado y la infancia como leitmotiv de su trabajo. El caso de Elena Zafón es especial. Su amor por las plantas la llevó a dar cursos de botánica y a crear espacios verdes, “porque necesitamos estar en contacto con las plantas, somos mucho más que una persona que tiene que ser productiva en su día a día”, reivindica.
