La Table Krug by Y (LTKBY) at The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain has opened an exclusive pop-up at the beach. Guests can immerse in casual refined dining while surrounded by white sand and the gentle sea breeze! Led by the talented Yann Bernard Lejard, F&B Director, The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, the restaurant draws inspiration from artistic expressions and will be open for a limited time at the hotel's beautiful beach location.
The pop-up restaurant will offer "Cuisine de Maison" or "Comfort Home Cooking" with a refined contemporary bistro style. The main colours are gold and burgundy, with some white touches and driftwood accents. Each ingredient used will be combined in unique ways, with fusion combinations designed to create symphonies and explosions of flavour.
Starting 5 May, diners can enjoy a seasonal version of La Table Krug by Y. Guests can expect dishes with a rich history, such as Mussels a la Provençale from the chef's early years as a Commis in France, and eggs "Mimosa", a Sunday staple from his mother's kitchen, served with mi-cut salmon and cold stuffed zucchini.
The menu will also feature some of the chef's favourite dishes, including "The Chicken a La Boss," a roasted chicken stuffed with field mushrooms and Foie-Gras served on Romanian focaccia bread with warm truffle butter and crispy potatoes. Also on the menu is "The Beef Tenderloin Centre Cut," cooked on charcoal with salt flakes and Sichuan hazelnut butter, and the "Local
Catch Lobster Thermidor" served with spinach leaves, mustard seeds, and saffron rice.
Guests can end their meal with a cheese assortment explained by the knowledgeable Chef Fromager or choose from delicious desserts like San Sebastian Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Profiteroles Royale, and Baba. To complement the food, there will be a range of creative cocktails, flavoured sodas, and juices, including the popular "Flower Power" cocktail.
Go Bistro by La Table Krug by Y will be open from Friday, 5 May to the first week of September (except for Sundays and Mondays). The restaurant will be open from 5 pm to 11 pm.

You share a lot about positive energy and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. What are some lessons you’ve learned along the way on these topics?
A secret to your happiness, which is rarely talked about is balancing your feminine and masculine energies to achieve balance in work, life as well as relationships with family, friends and partners.
What are some self-care practices that you would recommend?
It’s important to embrace feminine energy practices while living a masculine lifestyle.
These practices include meditation, yoga, painting, crafts, dancing, journaling, singing, and walking in nature.
What are some ways for people who live alone to break away from feelings of loneliness and embrace a positive outlook?
A great activity to do is to go out with friends and expand your circle. Invest in your hobbies and creativity. The more you have going on in your life, the more fulfilled you will feel. The fulfilment will provide a sense of comfort and joy even if you are alone. You reach a point when you enjoy your own company.
What according to you are the best ways to improve communication in a relationship?
Creating a safe space and a judgmentfree zone in a relationship helps each partner express their emotions with ease and share their individual difficulties. An important factor is honesty which is always accompanied by kindness. Honesty is the main pillar of any relationship but only if it’s expressed in kind words, taking your partner’s feelings into account. Finally, couples therapy gives the couple different outlooks on their relationship and helps them navigate disagreements. n
