The brief consisted in assisting the client in refurbishing an old palazzo overlooking the historic St. George’s Square into a modern restaurant and members club in the heart of Valletta. Archi+ was commissioned by the client to undertake the project management for the regeneration project of the Embassy Complex in Valletta. The brief consisted in gutting out the existing finishes, undertake major internal alterations and construct new 6 boutique style Cinemas, 81 hotel rooms and 4 commercial outlets spread over 11 floors. Our project managers were responsible for co-ordination of numerous contractors, management of timelines and co-ordinating both M&E and Finishes from start to finish.

One of the world’s leading professional services firms, KPMG Malta had engaged Archi+ to be their project managers to renovate and expand their offices in Pieta. The project involved major alterations in the existing Portico Building with a steel and composite structure for the new additional floors. Providing management services for all the stages of the project, our team was not only engaged to monitor and coordinate works on site, but also to handle design coordination and commercial management for all trades. This made it possible to execute a project of this scale in an exceptional 14 months.

MIDI Tigne Q2 Block, is another example where Archi+ was given the responsibility of handling projects in prominent locations. Having the role of Lead Project Managers, our team coordinated the design and site management for the main contractor working on the finishes and M&E of sixty apartments. We managed the delivery of all external and internal finishes, fixed furniture and all common areas. This project ticked many boxes and involved Site Co-ordination between the various contractors, Design Detailing & Certification of Works as well as Commercial/Contractual Management.

Considered to be one of the most influential and prominent buildings in that last century, the Parliament building stands as a modern architectural masterpiece. Designed by Renzo Piano, its sleek lines and limestone facade blend seamlessly with the city’s historic architecture. Archi+ was engaged as the project managers on behalf of the finishes contractor to coordinate all trades meticulously. The projects demanded deep knowledge of all processes and phases, in order to adhere to a high level of standards. Our experience proved to be crucial, particularly considering the challenges associated with such high profile projects.
