CINCINNATI UNION TERMINAL RETURNING CINCINNATI’S ART DECO GEM TO A TRANSPORTATION HUB ANNEKE HOSKINS
Cincinnati’s Union Terminal was one of the United States’ last great train stations. It began service in 1931 and the last train pulled out in 1972. In attempt to save the building, it has gone through a few programmatic transition periods ultimately ending up as the Cincinnati Museum Center. The goal of this proposal is to return the building to its original use by creating an addition that is respectful to the original design.
