“Christopher Doyle Architects have poetically woven

an understated and refined hand crafted brick exterior, with a sharp contemporary interior. The exterior features a sublime low profile clay brick for the Ground and First Floor, with contrasting stone and embellishments. The limestone clad pilasters above the soft grey of the brickwork, creates a rooftop pavilion for the Penthouses floating above the tree tops. Olivia is a finely conceived lifestyle opportunity, bringing together the ‘timeless contemporary’ design approach of Christopher Doyle Architects, in an intimate garden setting.ˮ

“ Having worked closely with Christopher Doyle from the

early stages, we have been able to achieve a considered landscape response providing future residents of Olivia with lush garden views and practical outdoor living spaces. The ground level apartments and penthouses offer expansive outdoor terraces that become an extension of the main living space. Native evergreen hedging such as Lilly Pillies provide privacy year round, while exotic trees and flowering shrubs provide seasonal colour and texture. The materials and palette have been carefully chosen to reference the architecture and the Brighton area, including natural stones, and metal work that will stand the test of time.ËŽ

C H R I STO P H E R D OY L E A RC H I T ECTS ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN

Christopher Doyle Architects has acquired a longstanding reputation in Toorak for fine luxury residential architecture. Whilst the firm’s catalogue reflects an impressive range of projects in terms of scale and typology, what has emerged over the last decade is a quietly robust, serious and highly articulate architectural voice, grounded in both architectural traditions and the complexity of modern construction. Solutions reflect both context and program, whilst working closely with enlightened top end clients and developers to achieve outcomes characterised by a passion for excellence. Penmanship reveals a commitment to refinement, lightness and solidity. Christopher’s ideals and sense of history has been inspired by his passionate engagement with both traditional cities and buildings and his love and observation of painting and nature. Inspired by a wide range of local and European traditions. Christopher resolves his designs with local authenticity, whilst remaining respectful to the well-established conventions of local traditions and context. Christopher’s work is at once comfortable and welcoming, grand yet intimate. They are a work of ‘timeless’ art and a sanctuary from the world outside, surrounding its occupants with the warm splendor and beautiful proportions. Ultimately, Christopher’s body of work presents a catalogue of finely designed residential architecture for Melbourne’s most discerning clients. Elegant and exclusive, Christopher brings together his ‘timeless’ design approach with the demands for contemporary luxury living, fusing new and familiar, in this highly sought after location.
