I am a graduating industrial design student, passionate for innovative solutions and creative approaches to design. I enjoy searching for inventive and rational solutions to complex problems. Having exposed to arts and industrial design, I have developed a personal style that is minimalistic, practical and effective. I let my projects to get influenced by my interests, which are physical interfaces and sound design. I am always striving to learn and develop. This portfolio not only shows my design work, it shows the progression through my studies and my development as a designer.

An intimate sleep regulator

Atlas! A sleep regulating smart selfcare device Atlas, designed to adapt sleep facilitating toys to adults, while mimicking a partner it monitors and guides sleep quality. 6 Week Project

Many of the adults having problems falling into sleep, which creates bigger problems like rebounds on their sleep rhythm. Kids use stuffed animal toys which gives them sense of comfort to fall asleep quickly. Just like children need to feel safe before falling to sleep, humans in all ages do as well. Many of the adults practice this by hugging a partner. Atlas is designed to adapt sleeping toys to adults living alone.
Atlas’ unique form was designed to mimic human posture. It hugs back the user by its concave shape. Putting under user’s head is not its prior function as the form suggests. It’s not only a pillow, but a partner and a sleep regulating device.
Atlas monitors user’s sleep quality by measuring heart rate and breathing frequency. It interprets the data gathered to understand user’s sleeping pattern and creates a personalized sleeping schedule. It suggests user the best personal time to sleep by notifying user through application and tactile stimuli from the physical product.

In this concept my aim was to transfer the rapidity of use in an analogue oven interface to a digital one which can also contain useful information for the user. The oven can be operated in few steps if the user knows the basic oven function symbols and does not need a detailed temperature setting. But it can also provide an alternative layout in which user gets information and suggestions.
I conducted user testings with the prototype I have made. It had a main wheel with push in and pull functions which lets you select and go back and use the oven with few steps in a basic setting. Switch next to it, was to let the user access more detailed options.
Main functions overview has an alternative overlay of detailed single function view with additional information. Temperature setting gives you opportunity to determine small inputs. Timer includes an alarm or shut off function for more detailed use of the product.

A smart cold brewing device that lets users prepare personalised cold brew coffee. Oshi, is designed to provide the foremost process of cold brew coffee consumption from purchasing to serving.

Oshi, is used with two containers for steeping and preserving and a smart cap. It suggests the best time to prepare cold brew according to your schedule, adjusts the optimum water for your personal taste, steeps your coffee for your preferred time and notifies you when it is strained. It even preserves your coffee nice and cold.

The light strip on top is how you interact with the device. You turn it on and place coffee in the filter. It is measured and optimal water is shown with blue light. As you pour water, blue light reduces and it turns to yellow. It is the optimal time for brewing you can adjust it with the dial in the middle of the device. And when it is strained light turns to green which means your coffee is ready to drink.

The device is also supported by the app which enables user to keep track of the process more precisesly. It shows the exact measurement of coffee user’s have put in. Gives possibility to adjust bitterness and strogness of the coffee. shows water ratio and time set. Showcases the condition of the coffee during and after the steeping. And notifies users when the brew is strained.
