Warrior Adventure Quest is a Free High Adventure Tour Program ONLY for Active Duty Army Soldiers. It is required for tour groups to be within the same platoons/units. - The WAQ program is designed to build platoon/unit cohesion, teamwork, and resiliency. - WAQ training requirements exist for platoon/unit leaders and is 100% mandatory. - Actual tour dates must be normal duty days (exceptions can be made). - Programming available (as weather permits): Ski/Snowboard, Zip Lining, Rock Climbing and Paintball. -Unit leaders must make a reservation at least 6 weeks in advance (exceptions may apply for short notice).

Single and Unaccompanied Soldiers gain knowledge from subject matter experts on better choices of food selections, cooking, and eating, and how to incorporate exercise in daily routines. USAG Yongsan BOSS is partnering with Yongsan Family and MWR Outdoor Recreation Center (ODR), 121st CSH Nutritional specialist, and CYS’s Sports and Fitness expert on the upcoming Life Skills program titled, ‘Healthy Lifestyle in the Army (HLA)’. • T o encourage Single and Unaccompanied Soldiers to eat and workout in smart ways, and obtain basic cooking skills to prepare affordable, simple, yet healthy choice meals even in their barracks kitchen. • T he intent is to make sure that they learn a tip or two to takeaway which they did not know before on how to efficiently work out, smart grocery shopping, cooking and eating healthy. • W e are incorporating the three pillars of the Performance Triad: exercise, nutrition, and quality of sleep.

After the orientation, please call the CDC from 0800-1600 to make a reservation for up to a week out. Space is available for most age groups at the CDC. RULES, PETIQUETTE & PRECAUTIONS Dog Owners: Must wear shoes at all times. May have up to 2 dogs per adult per visit. Are responsible and liable for their dogs and their actions. Will keep the dog’s leash in-hand while in the park. Stay with dog at all times and monitor behavior. Immediately leash and remove a problem dog (aggression, mounting, etc.) from the park. Quickly stop your dog from digging and fill any holes with dirt. Quickly clean up after your dog and dispose of the waste. (Don’t even think about leaving it for others to clean up!)
